World Skate Europe European Championships 2026 | Braga, Portugal | 20–25 July 2026

England Roller Hockey is proud to announce the England Under 17 Male Final Squad selected to represent England at the World Skate Europe European Championships in Braga from 20–25 July 2026.

Following an extremely competitive selection process, Head Coach Karl Smith has confirmed the final squad after months of trials, training camps, and player evaluations. The standard throughout the programme has been exceptionally high, and every player involved in the process should be proud of the commitment, professionalism, and determination they have shown.

England Roller Hockey would like to congratulate all players who took part in the selection pathway. Every athlete gave everything they could throughout the process, making the final decisions incredibly difficult for the coaching staff.

🇬🇧 Successful Wrap-Up in Germany! 🇩🇪🏆

A huge congratulations to our Senior Dance Couple, Dani Hayon & Oliver Martin, and their coaches Kym & Mike Caira, on a fantastic week at the World Skate Artistic World Cup in Garmisch-Partenkirchen!

For their first international competition of the 2026 season, they put on a really strong performance in the Free Dance.

📈 Top 10 Finish & New Personal Best!
Despite a couple of errors during the routine, they delivered a great performance overall to secure a fantastic Top 10 finish!

The hard work on the training rink is paying off, with the pair also achieving a brand new Personal Best (PB) for their Components in the Free Dance! 🛼✨

While there is still plenty to take away and work on as they move forward into the season, they have set a fantastic foundation.

FULL TIME at the Arena 🔵🟡
HBU 5 – 6 Letchworth

Our final match of the Premier League season came down to the absolute wire tonight in a thrilling encounter at the Bay Sports Arena. 🏒🔥

It was an incredibly close game that could have gone either way right up until the final whistle. The team left everything out on the rink, but unfortunately, it wasn’t to be HBU’s night as Letchworth edged it out by a single goal.

While it’s a tough way to finish the campaign, this season has been an incredible journey.

🇬🇧 Headed to the World Stage! 🇩🇪

Huge congratulations to our Senior Dance Couple, Dani Hayon & Oliver Martin, on their selection to represent GB Skate Artistic at the upcoming World Skate Artistic World Cup!

While the event in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, spans from the 8th to the 17th of May, Dani and Oliver will be taking to the floor for their competition on May 15th & 16th. 🗓️

⛸️ Hard Work Pays Off
This selection is a testament to the immense dedication and hours of training put in by Dani and Oliver, alongside the expert guidance of their coaches, Kym & Mike Caira.

This marks their first international event of the 2026 season, and we can’t wait to see their brand-new programs debut on the world stage. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity and would like to extend a massive thank you to GB Skate Artistic (GBSA) for their continued support of our athletes.

🛼 Success at the GBSA National Cup! 🏆

What a fantastic weekend for our Artistic Section at the GBSA Youth to Senior National Cup 2026! Our skaters headed to the Breydon Arena in Great Yarmouth on the 18th & 19th of April for the first event of the new season, and they certainly didn’t disappoint.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work every skater put in. The team spirit was second to none, with everyone cheering each other on and showing what Herne Bay United is all about! 💙💛

🏅 The Results
Our skaters faced tough competition and delivered some brilliant performances:

• Junior Men: Caydn Harwin – 3rd Place 🥉
• Senior Ladies: Rachel Jarvis – 3rd Place 🥉
