Player of the Day 3 went to Aliza, and what a debut it was 🌟⚽️

It was Aliza’s very first night at Football Fundamentals, but you would never have known it. She hit the ground running from the very first drill and showed absolutely no nerves at all, throwing herself straight into the session with confidence and determination.

This young lady mixed it up with the boys all night long and showed a fearless attitude right across the pitch. She worked incredibly hard, put in tackles everywhere, and never once shied away from the challenge. Her effort and commitment were outstanding and really impressed the coaches.

On top of that, Aliza showed some lightning pace during the drills, constantly getting in behind defenders and causing all sorts of problems. Her energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to get involved made her performance even more special, especially for a first session.

A truly brilliant start to her Football Fundamentals journey. Well done, Aliza, and a huge welcome to Football Fundamentals — we can’t wait to see you continue to grow and shine! 👏⚽️

Player of the Day 2 went to Dan, and once again he showed exactly why he’s such a key part of our sessions 👏⚽️

Dan was absolutely fantastic all night long, delivering a top-class performance in both the training drills and the end game. From the very first whistle, his energy, focus, and commitment were clear to see, and he set a great example for everyone around him.

He continues to put in brilliant performances week in, week out, and his consistency is something that really stands out to the coaches. Dan’s attacking play is a real highlight — showing great movement, confidence on the ball, and a willingness to take players on.

What impressed us just as much, though, was his work rate and determination to track back and help out in defence. That kind of all-round effort makes a huge difference to the team and shows a fantastic understanding of the game.

A truly excellent performance from start to finish. Brilliant work, Dan — keep it up, young man! 💪⚽️

This week was a tough one for the coaches, as there were so many fantastic performances on show that we had to name three Players of the Day 👏⚽️

Player of the Day 1 went to Bobby, and what a well-deserved award it was. Bobby produced a brilliant performance from start to finish on Friday night and really stood out across the entire session.

He absolutely shone in the training drills, particularly during the scanning and tackling exercises. His awareness was excellent, constantly checking his surroundings, and when it came to defending, he was rock solid. Bobby put in some very strong, well-timed tackles and made life extremely difficult for anyone trying to get past him.

His effort, focus, and determination were first class, and it was great to see him applying everything he learned into the drills and match situations. Performances like this are exactly what Football Fundamentals is all about.

Brilliant work, Bobby — keep up the hard work and fantastic attitude, young man. We can’t wait to see you build on this in the weeks ahead! 💪⚽️

We had another absolutely brilliant session at Football Fundamentals on Friday night, full of energy, effort, and big smiles all round ⚽️

The boys and girls were outstanding from start to finish, throwing themselves into every drill with great enthusiasm and focus. Their listening, effort, and willingness to try new things really stood out, and it was fantastic to see so much confidence and improvement across the group.

Every player gave 100%, pushing themselves and supporting each other throughout the session, which made for a great atmosphere on the pitch. As coaches, it’s incredibly rewarding to see the hard work paying off week after week.

We were extremely impressed once again and can’t wait to build on this momentum in the next session. Keep up the fantastic work everyone — you should all be very proud! 👏⚽️

Our very first Player of the Day for Tots was awarded tonight, and what a special moment it was 👏

This week’s award went to Darla, and she couldn’t have made a better first impression if she tried!

It was Darla’s first ever session with Football Fundamentals, but from the moment she stepped onto the pitch she absolutely hit the ground running. She listened brilliantly throughout all of the drills, took everything on board, and gave maximum effort in every single activity — a fantastic attitude to see from the very start.

As the session moved into the end match, Darla really showed her confidence and determination. She got properly stuck in, made some brilliant tackles, went on a few dazzling runs with the ball, and topped it all off by calmly stepping up to score a fantastic penalty kick 🎯⚽️

An outstanding start from this young lady and a fully deserved Player of the Day. We’re so excited to see how Darla continues to grow and develop in the coming sessions.

Well done Darla — keep shining! 🌟

What a brilliant evening as we hosted our very first Tots session on the Belmont Wanderers 3G pitch 🤩

From the very first whistle, the session was packed with energy, laughter and so many smiles. It was amazing to see the boys and girls taking their very first steps into football, growing in confidence with every activity.

We enjoyed a variety of fun-filled games, designed to keep everyone moving, learning and most importantly, having fun. We also introduced a few exciting little skill moves, and the effort from every single child was outstanding — they all gave it a go and did themselves proud 👏

Seeing the enjoyment, enthusiasm and happiness on the pitch is exactly what these sessions are all about. The support, encouragement and positive attitude from everyone made the night extra special.

A huge well done to each and every one of you — it was a fantastic group effort and an incredible start to our Tots journey at Belmont Wanderers. We can’t wait to see you all back on the pitch again very soon! ⚽️💙

Football Fundamentals – Second Player of the Day 🌟

Our second Player of the Day goes to Olek after a brilliant session packed with focus, effort, and quality throughout. From the very start, Olek was absolutely switched on and gave everything in every drill.

He really stood out during the scanning drills, picking up the concept incredibly quickly and showing fantastic awareness of what was happening around him. His ability to check his surroundings, make decisions early, and react with confidence was top class and impressed both coaches and teammates.

Olek then took everything he had learned in the drills and carried it straight into the end game, which is exactly what we love to see. His use of the ball was excellent, showing composure, smart decision-making, and great confidence in a match situation.

This was a brilliant example of learning, applying, and enjoying the game. Huge well done, Olek — keep working hard, stay focused, and keep enjoying your football. Outstanding effort! 👏⚽️🔥

Football Fundamentals – Player of the Day 🌟

Our very first Player of the Day goes to Archie after an outstanding session on Friday night! From the moment the session started, Archie was fully focused, full of energy, and ready to work hard in every single drill.

He produced a fantastic all-round performance, showing great effort, enthusiasm, and a real willingness to learn. Archie especially impressed the coaches during the step-over drills, where he picked up the move incredibly quickly and showed brilliant confidence when using it in practice. His determination to keep trying, improve, and push himself really stood out.

It’s great to see such a positive attitude and strong work ethic at such a young age. Keep listening, keep practising, and keep enjoying your football, Archie — you’re doing an amazing job.

Football Fundamentals Tots 🏆⚽

We’re incredibly excited to announce our new partnership with Belmont Wanderers Football Club!

Together, our shared aim is simple: to get as many boys and girls enjoying football as possible in a positive, welcoming environment. This partnership creates a fantastic pathway into grassroots football at Belmont Wanderers, giving young players the opportunity to take their first steps in the game with confidence.

Players will train and play on Belmont’s brand-new 3G pitch and benefit from the club’s state-of-the-art facilities, which are set to be completed within the next 12 months.

At Football Fundamentals, fun always comes first. Our sessions are designed to help children fall in love with football, building confidence, friendships, and key skills through enjoyment and play – because we believe this is where the best development begins.

We’re absolutely thrilled to begin this exciting new chapter and can’t wait to welcome lots of new faces to the Football Fundamentals family.

🌟 Football Fundamentals – Player of the Day 2 🌟

Tonight’s Player of the Day 2 award goes to Marley, and once again he showed exactly why he continues to stand out week after week. Marley always brings his A-game, and this session was no different. He is a player who just keeps improving, and his development has been fantastic to see.

One of Marley’s biggest strengths is his never-give-up attitude. No matter the drill, the challenge, or the situation on the pitch, he gives 100% every single time. That determination and work ethic sets a brilliant example for others and makes him a coach’s dream.

Defensively, Marley was outstanding. His reading of the game and timing of his tackles were exceptional, winning the ball cleanly again and again. As coaches, his defensive work is some of the best we’ve seen, and he continues to show real maturity and composure in that role.

What makes Marley even more exciting to watch is his ability to turn defence into attack. Bursting forward from deep positions with confidence and purpose, he regularly helped drive his team up the pitch and start attacking opportunities — a huge asset to any team.

A top-class performance once again. Keep working hard, keep believing in yourself, and keep enjoying your football — you’re absolutely smashing it, Marley! ⚽️🔥

🌟 Football Fundamentals – Player of the Day 🌟

Tonight’s Player of the Day award goes to Kuba, and what a performance it was! From the very first drill to the final whistle, Kuba was absolutely sensational and a joy to watch.

He showed outstanding confidence on the ball, pulling off a variety of brilliant skill moves to beat players time and time again. His ability to take players on, create space, and drive forward really set him apart during the session. On top of that, Kuba showed incredible strength and balance, holding off opponents with ease and keeping control of the ball so he could calmly pick out smart, accurate passes for his teammates.

It wasn’t just his attacking play that impressed either — Kuba also put in a huge shift defensively. His tackling, positioning, and willingness to work hard for the team were excellent, showing a real all-round performance and fantastic attitude.

A truly brilliant session from start to finish. Keep working hard, keep enjoying your football, and keep believing in yourself — well done Kuba, keep it up young man! ⚽️🔥

Another Fantastic Friday night at Football Fundamentals ⚽️

What a brilliant session from this group of boys, who once again gave absolutely everything in training. Their energy, enthusiasm, and genuine love for the game really stood out, and it’s a pleasure to watch them develop week after week. They are a truly special group of players with a great attitude and an even better team spirit.

Tonight’s focus was on short passing and movement, with structured drills designed to improve awareness, decision-making, and teamwork. Every single player approached the session with focus and positivity, showing a willingness to learn, work hard, and support one another throughout.

To top it all off, the boys in the photo were proudly showing off their brand new Football Fundamentals training T-shirts, and they looked the part! 👕❤️
