🏏 A dynamic & friendly club competing in the Worcester County League
🌱 Established in 1997 growing & improving every year

The club has gone from strength to strength each season and we have 3 senior teams in the Worcestershire and Herefordshire cricket leagues, all playing to a good standard. Out first team play in division 3 of the Worcestershire league along with our second team playing in division 7. Our third play in the Herefordshire marches league and currently play in division 3. We do also play friendlies against various clubs local but also further afield. At Bartestree there is a thriving junior section open to boys and girls of all ages. We run under 9, under 11, under 13 and under 15 along with the all stars. The majority of our senior teams are all made up of players that have all come through our junior section continuing to improve and some even representing our Hereford county teams. Here at Bartestree everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the club and get involved, everyone’s is friendly, enthusiastic and always wanting to improve and drive the club forward to be the best.

🏆 DIVISION TWO CHAMPIONS 🏆

Back to Division One at the first attempt! 🌳🏏

A fantastic season for the 1st XI, finishing top of Division Two with 15 wins from 22 games and 366 points.

Congratulations to captain Ryan Trattell and all 22 players who represented the side during the season. A real squad effort from start to finish. 👏

Some incredible individual performances along the way:

🏏 Ethan Lerego – 784 runs @ 87.11, including 3 centuries and a top score of 155*
🏏 Ryan Trattell – 775 runs @ 48.44, including 2 centuries, plus 40 wickets
🔥 PD Blignaut – 611 runs at a strike rate of 143.76 and a remarkable 59 wickets @ 12.61, including 8/32
🎯 Tom O’Connor – 31 wickets and 327 runs
🤝 Record partnership of 243* between Ethan and Tom
🙌 George Godsall – 15 catches

After the disappointment of relegation last year, the response couldn’t have been much better — straight back up as Champions. 🏆

🏏 BLCC Junior Presentation Evening 2026 🏆

On Friday, our juniors came together for the final time this season to enjoy some cricket, collect their trophies and thank the amazing coaches and volunteers who make junior cricket possible at BLCC.

An unbelievable amount of work goes into organising training and getting our teams onto the field each week.

For the past ten years, Phil Anderson has given so much to the club and our junior section. In recent years, Tim Fawbert has stepped up as Club Development Officer and now coordinates the majority of our junior teams.

Alongside Phil and Tim, we are incredibly grateful to all our coaches, scorers, groundstaff, helpers and parents. Your time and commitment make BLCC such a fantastic place for young people to play and enjoy cricket.

A brilliant day at the club for our first ever Two-Ball Cricket Day, bringing together players from our 3rd & 4th XIs, Women’s Softball Team and juniors for two very competitive T20s!

With mixed teams, father-and-son combinations, some creative rules and a strict ‘no complaining’ policy 😂, the games couldn’t have been much closer.

🏏 Game 1: Team 1 won by 2 runs
🏏 Game 2: Team 2 won by 1 run off the final ball!

Most importantly, it was a fantastic club day — competitive, inclusive and played with plenty of laughs and brilliant spirit.

Thanks to everyone who played, helped out and supplied the all-important tea and cake! 🍰☕️

Hopefully the first of many Two-Ball Cricket Days!
