Summer ending doesn't mean the swimming has to! 🌊

Want to make your next summer holiday as stress-free as can be? Then let's keep the kids in the pool to continue learning water safety, developing a love for swimming, and having fun!

The best thing about swimming, though, is it's for everyone. 💦

Kids and grownups alike can enjoy a lively splash or refreshing dip. If you're usually a gym person, why not give the pool a go?

You can either enjoy swimming on a pay-as-u-go basis, or as part of your membership. Plus, kids enrolled in lessons at Halo get to enjoy swimming sessions for FREE! ⭐

It’s time to get the dates in your diary for Health Horizons! 💫

Our next cohort at Hereford Leisure Centre kicks off soon. We are incredibly grateful to the Herefordshire Community Foundation for their support, which helps us bring this vital programme to those in our local community living with life-limiting medical conditions.

Mark your calendars for our 4-session course:
🗓️ 21st, 28th September, 5th & 12th October.

This programme offers 90 minutes of connection followed by 30 minutes of movement that is completely tailored to you. Come for the expert advice and stay for the friendly community. 🤝💙

Have you checked out our Functional Fitness Zone yet?

We added the equivalent of two badminton courts of extra space to the gym floor to give you room to really push your workouts. Here’s how you can make the most of it:

🤸 Functional Group Training: Plenty of room and great kit for our high-energy sessions!

🧱 Build Your Own Circuit: When classes aren't running, the floor is yours. Feel free to move kit around and create your own workout setup.

🏃 Space to Move: Plenty of room for shuttle runs, farmer's carries, and burpee broad jumps without bumping into anyone!

Whether you want guidance from our fitness team or just want to get stuck into your routine, this space is ready for you.

Exciting news from JogOn

📣 “Hi Everyone, a quick update from us at JogOn HQ. It's been a great summer, eventhough our warehouse has been much like a sauna at times! thank you all for your massive support, please keep 'em coming! With your help were doing some amazing things. This week we tipped over the 60 tonnes of shoes that we have removed from landfill. - You guys are awesome!”

A huge thank you to everyone who has dropped off their pre loved shoes at our dedicated bin at Hereford Leisure Centre 👟 A especially grateful to our very own Mark Hookins who spends time sorting, boxing, and shipping your trainers so they can be given a new lease of life! 🫶🏼

So, if you’ve just upgraded your running shoes, be sure to take your old ones down to the JogOn bin located at reception at Hereford Leisure Centre! ♻️

Starting on the 21st September, this 4-week programme is made possible by the Herefordshire Community Foundation. We dive into the topics that matter most, including managing fatigue, mindfulness, and gentle physical activity that works for your body.

The best part? This programme is FREE for Halo Members
or just £3.50 per session for Non-Members.
