HEREFORDSHIRE will include three brothers in their line-up for the first time since their formation in 1992 when they take on Cornwall in their latest NCCA T20 group matches at Eastnor on Sunday.
The three Cox brothers – Joel, Ollie and Toby – play their club cricket at Ombersley with Toby also a member of the Worcestershire Academy.
All three have played for Herefordshire before but only two of them have previously played in the same side together.
With three players ruled out due to commitments in the National Club knock-out, Herefordshire are again forced into wholesale changes with five players dropping out after the double defeat by Devon last week.
This means a first appearance of the season for Dorridge off-spinning all-rounder Imaad Mahmood and a recall for another Worcestershire Academy youngster Seth Essenhigh.
Also returning is Brockhampton paceman Theo Barker who played throughout the 50-over group matches and acted as 12th man last week at Blundell’s School.
Cornwall have won two of their four games, losing one and tieing the other.
Last weekend, they beat Dorset twice with conclusive wins by 56 runs and seven wickets.
John Moon was in spectacular form in the first of those victories, lashing an unbeaten 103 from 39 balls with 10 sixes and six fours.
Dorset previously beat Herefordshire twice at Eastnor on May 24.
Herefordshire’s final group games will be against Wiltshire, who beat and tied with Cornwall, at Westbury on July 5.
On Sunday, play will get under way in the first match at 11am.
