If you suffer from neck, back or shoulder pain, it may surprise you to know that improving your posture may go a long way in easing your symptoms. A postural assessment and corrective exercise programme will determine what areas you need to improve and provide you with the solutions, which are usually, time effective and won't necessarily require the use of a gym.

Most people, when they hear the word posture, will think "Head up, shoulders back". Of course this is correct. But take a look at the areas highlighted in red in the image. They are all muscles that play a part in your posture. If ANY of these muscles are tight, weak over or inactive then bad posture, mobility and joint pain will occur.
A huge percentage of humans suffer from issues caused within the musculoskeletal system. A lot of them are told that they will need surgical procedures, which is not necessarily the case. A postural assessment and Corrective exercise programme can be the key to a happier, pain-free quality of life.
