🤠💕 9–25 — DOLLY DAY 💕🤠
Following the sad passing of Dolly Parton, her friends are encouraging September 25th — 9–25 — to become “Dolly Day”: a day to honour her incredible life by carrying forward something she believed in so strongly — helping others. ❤️
Her philosophy of kindness, generosity and giving back to your community feels very close to our own Starlight values, so when we heard the idea we knew exactly what we wanted to do…
We’re having a good old LINE DANCE NIGHT and raising money for our friends at St Paul’s Primary School! 🤠👢✨
Because we reckon Dolly would rather we remembered her with music, dancing, laughter and a little bit of sparkle! 💕✨
Join us for an easy-to-follow line dancing class set to some fabulous country tunes. It’s aimed mainly at adults, but children who fancy getting up and dancing are very welcome too, we’d recommend Age 8+ — but would welcome keen younger children and you definitely don’t need to be a dancer!
And YES… dressing up is thoroughly encouraged! 🤠👢💖
Cowboy hats, boots, denim, gingham, rhinestones… the more Dolly, the better!
This is open to the whole community, so bring your friends, family, neighbours, school parents — whoever fancies a Friday night boogie for a brilliant cause.

Dance a little. Give a little. Help your community. ❤️
And if you can’t join us, perhaps mark Dolly Day in your own way — reach out, lend a hand, support something local or simply do something kind for somebody who needs it.
That feels like a pretty wonderful legacy to dance on. 💕🤠✨
