⚠️ Warm Weather Reminder ⚠️

As the weather gets hotter, the gym becomes very warm during sessions. We’d like to remind all boxers, parents, and anyone attending sessions to come prepared.

🥊 Please wear suitable lightweight training clothing
💧 Stay hydrated throughout the day before training
🚰 Bring a water bottle with you to every session (water refills are available in the gym)

Keeping hydrated and dressed appropriately will help everyone train safely and perform at their best during the warmer months.

Rounding up a busy weekend with 7 boxers competing across 2 shows - a mixed bag of results to come back with👊🏻

Firstly, massive congratulations to all our boxers — every one of them left everything in the ring and did us proud. Huge thanks as well to HJP and Clearys for having us, we really appreciate the opportunities to keep our boxers active and gaining experience.

We saw some great fights, brilliant skills bout, strong performances and valuable learning .

Some of our boxers fell short against tough opponents — that’s boxing, and we go again.

But some of the decisions were really hard to accept. It’s disappointing when fighters, coaches and even other people IN and outside the ring, are left questioning scorecards. Boxing can be tough enough without feeling like you’re battling more than just your opponent.

That doesn’t reflect all decisions this weekend, but many of them.

That said, our boxers handled it with class. They know what they achieved, they know what they deserved, and they’re already buzzing to get back in the ring 🥊

We are incredibly grateful to have recently received funding through the Sport Fund and the UKCF PE & Recreation Fund. Their support helps us continue providing opportunities for grassroots boxing in Hereford and making a positive difference in our community.
