Today we’re celebrating all the amazing dads, grandads and father figures who join us at Mini Athletics each week.

Whether you’re cheering from the sidelines, helping with an activity, joining in the fun or offering a reassuring hand when it’s needed most, those moments mean so much.

A special Happy Father’s Day to my husband, who supports our little athletes both on and off the track and is always ready to get involved.

We hope all our Mini Athletics dads have a wonderful day filled with fun, laughter and special memories with their little ones. 💙

This week we’re heading on a train adventure at Mini Athletics.

Our little athletes will be crawling through tunnels, travelling along the tracks and using their imaginations as they develop important movement skills through play.

We can’t wait to see where the journey takes us! 🚂✨

🧠 Why do active children often concentrate better?

Many people think physical activity is all about helping children burn off energy, but it does so much more than that.

When children run, jump, balance, throw and catch, they’re not just developing physical skills. They’re also learning to:
⭐ Listen to instructions
⭐ Focus on a task
⭐ Wait their turn
⭐ Follow rules
⭐ Respond to challenges

Movement helps children engage both their bodies and their minds.

That’s why our sessions aren’t just about keeping children active. Every game and activity is designed to develop important skills that support learning, confidence and concentration too.

Learning through movement is one of the most natural ways for young children to explore the world around them. 💙

Mini Athletics Hereford & Worcester are looking for energetic, enthusiastic and fun-loving individuals to join our growing team.

Whether you’re studying, looking for flexible part-time work, or simply love helping children build confidence and enjoy being active, we’d love to hear from you.

✅ No qualifications needed
✅ Full training provided
✅ Make a real difference to children’s lives through movement and sport

▶️ Applicants must have access to a car and be available to work Saturdays.

Happy 10th birthday to Mini Athletics 🎉🎈

Although we have only just started here in Hereford, Mini Athletics has been operating for 10 years now and they just keep growing and growing meaning more children get to engage with this wonderful program 💛

We had the annual conference in Twickenham today which was a great opportunity to hear from other franchisees and guest speakers. I have a brain full of how we can implement new things across Hereford and Worcester and I can’t wait to share it with you all and get more children flourishing through movement 🏃🏼‍♂️
