Such a gorgeous Pack run this morning! Loving this sunshine🥰! Although, the one drawback to wearing a visor…I didn’t see the tree branch that brained me🤦🏻‍♀️🤣. Fortunately, I was able to keep running (after I picked myself off the ground) and Charlie was completely unphased by my trauma🤣.

Just a hilly CaniTrek today. Getting Charlie used to some of the dogs in the Pack. Apart from the boisterous greeting, he settles in nicely once we actually get going. And what’s really lovely is how accepting the Pack is with Charlie. Often within the Pack, the dogs need a few introductions before fully accepting another dog into the fold. But Charlie hasn’t had any problems at all. I like to think the Pack knows that Jens’ human wouldn’t bring in just any old dog…but a dog that would have the approval of Jens, Best Pack Leader Ever🥹🥰🐾.

Ah! It’s still warm out there, but much cooler. Not so cool that a dip isn’t warranted, but cooler nonetheless 😂. Both Canicross and CaniTrek met up this morning for a little cross country adventure. Loving that we are still able to get out and hang with our pups in this weather.

Whoohoo! What a gorgeous morning! We had to go out early doors to squeeze in a CaniTrek and a CaniX run, but it was so worth it. We kept the run short so as not to be out too long, and the Trek was just the right distance. The dogs had a great time, even Charlie, who isn’t a big fan of the heat. But we had plenty of water stops for humans and dogs to keep everyone cool. These hot days aren’t here for long so we have to make the most of them. ❤️

Had a lovely CaniTrek this morning with this group. Charlie had a rough week, so it was great to see him enjoying his walk with all his friends. I love this lot, the dogs all get along so well, even though some are unsure with most other dogs. The humans are always good with the chat, not to mention have just become really good friends over the years. That…and I can usually get them to meet up if there is a promise of a Cheese Shed stop at the end🧀🥪☕️🥐🤣.

Well that was a chilly one! But it was perfect for a CaniTrek and a CaniX run. As I am still injured we have two groups: one trekking and one running. Fortunately my veteran runners can read a map (mostly 😜🤣). It was a beautiful mor, and I must say, it was so refreshing to see that everyone we came across with dogs…put their dogs on a lead before we even had to ask. AND! They were friendly about it. Some days the vibes are just good and the universe smiles upon you. ❤️

One running group and one trekking group out this Sunday. I hate not being able to lead my runners, but it’s nice to be able to see some of my Pack that aren’t able to run for various reasons. It’s also good for Charlie to learn some of the basics before I start letting him CaniX. Sometimes the universe decides you need to slow down for whatever reason. I might as well take the opportunity to smell the roses😌.

Such a beautiful morning for a CaniX run! Although there might have been a couple of complaints on the hills…everyone appreciated the views at the top😇🤭. Sadly I am out of commission with an injury, so Charlie and I had to walk a shorter loop. Charlie swears I didn’t inform him of this tragedy and was not best pleased. Fortunately the treats at the end seemed to make up for it.

Long run Sunday! Six miles of undulating hills. So thankful to wee Ted for giving me enough pull to power up the hills, but not enough for me to crash and burn on the descents🤣. The big dogs are always gonna sail through these trails, but the small dogs really give it their all to keep up. Well done today to all dogs, big and small, and to all the humans that kept up with them😂🐾💪🏼.
