Playgolf is thrilled to let you know:

⛳️ classes in Henley this summer term
⛳️for boys and girls aged 5 - 9 years
⛳️all equipment provided
⛳️from beginner golfers, to intermediate then advanced (progressive programme)
⛳️an opportunity not just to develop a love of the game of golf, but to develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically too!

Currently, we are looking at starting classes on a Monday from 5 - 6pm and on Thursdays from 5:30 - 6:30pm. Other class times may be possible too!

Sporty says Happy World Earth Day to all our Playballers and friends!

Sporty loves any excuse to get moving and active, and if we can combine this with conservation efforts to look after our planet - it really is a WIN WIN!

Here are some things you could do this Earth Day (well every day really, but today in particular!):

🌍 Go for a litter picking walk
🌍 Walk or ride a bicycle to school, activities, shops, etc...
🌍 Start a compost heap, or give an existing one a good churning
🌍 Grow your own vegetables, fruit or herbs
🌍Meal prep and cook a meal from scratch (chopping veggies is great for fine motor development)
🌍 Shop for locally grown produce
🌍 Plant some plants especially for pollinators 🐝

🌍 AND don't forget to take your reusable water bottle with you on your Earth Day adventures!

Welcome to Playgolf Henley! Coach Matt (owner of Playball Henley and Playball North Oxford) is thrilled to be launching Playgolf for the children of Henley-on-Thames and surrounding areas! Matt has coached and taught the Playgolf programme for a number of years in South Africa and he says he can't wait to use the medium of golf to further enrich the lives of children in our area. Golf is a great way to develop personal, social and emotional skills, not to mention the health benefits and what a great game it can be for life! Pop us a message and say hi!
