Arden Bake Off 2026: The Final!!

With the theme of “Is It Cake?” our finalist were challenged to create desserts that mimicked a realistic item of their choice.

We had a feast of different desserts to judge, including an actual charcuterie board to cleanse the palette between cakes. Thank you to everyone who participated throughout the year, prizes will of course be awarded at our annual end of year awards evening!

Pre-Nationals Training Weekend!!

Starting the Sunday with pancakes as usual! Thank you to Cathryn for being the ultimate chef this weekend.

We had two sessions of training chukkas in the beaming sun today, with plenty of rests and debriefs in between. As well as an on foot session and a well deserved lunch breaking up the day.

Thank you to everyone for joining us…especially our distant travellers, it was a brilliant weekend for the run up to Nationals!

Pre-Nationals Training Weekend!!

We’ve had a lovely day of training and socialising for our annual pre-nationals weekend. Our mounted sessions focused on aspects we all collectively wanted to practice; lineout exits, area work and clearing throws.

Our socialising antics involved ice-cream trips, group laser tag and homemade “make your own pizzas” for dinner. Thank you to Seona for preparing all the dough and Cathryn for cooking all the pizzas!

Big shout out to all our members who helped support the weekend of Pony Club Champs…whether it was umpiring, lending umpire horses or even coaching Area teams. We will always jump at the chance to help Pony Club whenever we can🙌🏻

Pony Club Championships!!

Congratulations to all the players involved, it was a brilliant weekend to be apart of. Massive thank you to Pony Club - Polocrosse and the entire team behind them!

Lastly a special shoutout to the Warwickshire & Burghley team who placed 2nd in Novice Minis (Ed Greatorex, Wilfred Brown and Thomas Blackwell).

With the added extra of Wilfred’s pony Buddy winning The Galaxy Trophy of Best Minis Pony!

Well done to everyone who took part, it was wonderful to see so many new teams and members there as well as lots of returning faces! The standard across all the grades was really high and it was great to see such wonderful play from our members and their amazing ponies!

A huge thank you again to everyone who made them happen; all our wondeful volunteers who organised, pitch marked, field marshalled, tack checked and (of course) umpired!

We hope you all had a brilliant time and we look forwards to seeing you all back in 2027 (plus hopefully with lots of new members as well!)
