🏆 The President’s Cup 2026 🏆

What a fantastic morning at Horton Golf Club for today’s President’s Cup competition.

Played in glorious summer sunshine, the course was looking superb and provided the perfect setting for a highly enjoyable and competitive round of golf. It was great to see so many members out on the course enjoying the excellent conditions and friendly atmosphere.

Congratulations to Andy Wood, who was crowned this year’s President’s Cup Champion with a superb performance. A well-deserved victory and a fantastic achievement.

Congratulations also to our prize winners and thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a success.

Days like these remind us what Horton Golf Club is all about – great golf, great company and a welcoming club spirit.

☀️🏌️‍♂️ The Committee Shield 2026 🏌️‍♂️☀️

Today we held our annual Committee Shield competition in glorious Sussex sunshine. It was a fantastic morning of golf, with members enjoying excellent course conditions, friendly competition and some superb scoring.

Congratulations to Matt Spearing on winning this year's Committee Shield and taking home the trophy. 🏆

A special well done also goes to Mark Harris and Chris Charlton, who finished in second and third place respectively after some excellent golf.

Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make it such an enjoyable event. Days like these are what make Horton Golf Club such a special place to play.

Many of the members from Horton Golf Club are proud members of the Wanderers Society, and today we enjoyed a fantastic day of golf in the sunshine at West Hove Golf Club.

Great company, plenty of laughs, and a wonderful course made for a brilliant day all round. Thank you to J.P. for organising and to everyone at West Hove Golf Club for the warm welcome and hospitality.

Each summer at Horton, our members enjoy our fantastic Wednesday Evening Golf League – a relaxed and sociable 9-hole competition that makes the most of those long, warm evenings on the course.

It’s a great way to enjoy some friendly competition, meet fellow members, and unwind after the day with some excellent golf.
