We're delighted to announce that SESKU MINERS FC will be entering TWO teams into the Martyn Broom Trophy on Sunday 14th June 2026.

This fantastic tournament has been organised in honour of Martyn Broom and will raise funds for Cancer Research UK, supporting an incredible cause while bringing the local football community together.

Our lads are looking forward to a full day of football, competition, and representing the club with pride. 💪

SESKU Miners 12–3 Lupset Lions 💛💚

SESKU Miners produced a superb attacking display to record an impressive 12–3 victory over Lupset Lions in an entertaining game full of quality football.

Hat-tricks from Luke Ordish and Jack Eccles led the way, while Ellis Proctor (2), Owen Holroyd, Hedley Conway, Connor Mountain, and Ethan Shaw all added their names to the scoresheet. The creativity was equally impressive, with Luke Ordish (4 assists), Jack Eccles (3), Billy Mills (2), Perry Cawthorne (2) and Owen Holroyd (1) providing the service.

Despite the scoreline, special credit goes to the Lupset Lions goalkeeper, who delivered a fantastic performance and pulled off numerous outstanding saves. His display gained him SESKU'S Man of the Match award.
