Official Statement from Schools of Kung Fu UK
We are aware of recent statements made by SiFu Christopher Watts and feel it is necessary to provide clarification.
The pages in question, covering Slough, Watford, Maidenhead and Hemel Hempstead, are the legal property of Schools of Kung Fu UK. These pages were created and operated under the Schools of Kung Fu brand as part of the organisation’s national structure. During his time with the organisation, SiFu Christopher Watts was granted permission to manage these pages while operating as a licensed franchisee instructor of Schools of Kung Fu UK.
Following his departure from the organisation, SiFu Chris Watts no longer holds any rights, licence or authority to control, manage or represent any part of the Schools of Kung Fu UK brand, business name or its digital platforms. The pages remain under the ownership of Schools of Kung Fu UK and continue to represent the organisation’s activities in these areas. This is not a case of impersonation, nor is anyone presenting themselves as SiFu Christopher Watts. The organisation is simply continuing to operate its official pages and represent its own classes and services, as it has always done.
For the avoidance of doubt, Schools of Kung Fu UK retains full legal rights to operate, promote and establish classes in these areas. The organisation remains free to appoint instructors, advertise services and continue to provide training under its name, business structure and brand throughout these locations.
Any claims suggesting that Schools of Kung Fu UK is engaging in misrepresentation or improper conduct are entirely unfounded, inaccurate and misleading. We remain fully entitled to manage and operate these pages as part of the ongoing business and in line with our intellectual property rights.
Kind regards
Schools of Kung Fu UK
