I was recently made a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of HR Professionals.

A quiet honour from a profession I’ve tried to shape for the better.

Grateful, and still curious about what comes next.

Here’s to the men stepping up for the next gen.

Last November, gave their time to a room full of teenage boys at our conference. What struck me was their honesty. They didn’t sell the influencer life as one long highlight reel - they talked about the highs and the lows, the real ones. And they weren’t chasing money. They were talking about purpose, and finding joy in the work you do.

There’s a lot competing for our boys’ attention right now, and not all of it has their best interests at heart. Which is exactly why it matters that they get to see men like this - men who show up, listen, and model something better.

Thank you, Josh and Moyo. The boys in that room won’t forget it. Neither will I.

Bookings for our November 2026 boys’ conference are now open. Head to to find out more and secure a place for a young man in your life.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. I’m marking it by walking 100 miles. And I’m asking you to move with me.
1 in 5 young people aged 16-24 in England is living with a common mental health problem.
For young women, it’s higher still - more than 1 in 3.
For young men, the crisis often goes unseen. 3 in 4 suicides in ages 5-35 are boys and young men.
Different crises. Same generation. Both heartbreaking. Both preventable.
Behind every statistic is a teenager trying to hold it together while waiting for support that may never come.
This is why Rocking Ur Teens CIC exists. For 13 years we’ve been building rooms where young people - boys and girls - feel seen, supported, and safe to dream bigger. Role models who look like them. Mentors who get it. Conversations that change what feels possible.
3,500+ young people. Still not enough.
Every mile I walk this month raises money for a large-scale teen empowerment event in 2027 - hundreds of teenagers in one room with the role models, mentors and conversations that shift the direction of their lives.
Three ways in:
→ Move with me. Walk, run, cycle, swim, dance. Your goal, your way. DM me and let’s do it together.
→ Donate. Link in bio. Any amount.
→ Share. Send this to one person who cares about young people.
100 miles. 31 days. For every teenager who deserves to feel seen.

Do your people feel like they make a difference - or just another cog in a big machine?

That question hits differently depending on which side of the desk you’re sitting on.

I’m hosting my first public event of the year with Jo Cook - a real conversation about what it actually takes to build teams where people show up like owners.

Not theory. Real stories. One thing you can do differently straight away.
