How heavy should you lift be lifting?

If your new, there will be a slight bit of trial and error to see what your capable of but here's a guiding principle.

The best way of deciding what weight to use of how many reps is to work to something called an RPE- rate of perceived exertion, which basically means on a scale of 1-10 where 1 is falling asleep and 10 is unbearable aim to find a weight that is around a 7/10 to perform 10-15 reps with

As a rule of thumb, you want to find a weight that each set you should finish with about 1 or possibly 2 more reps In the tank.

I honestly can’t thank Chris enough, he created me an easily accessible plan and adapted it throughout, the constant contact really was appreciated through my fitness journey and essentially motivated me to keep it up and maintain it!
