With advice from HM Coastguard Area 11 Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Coastal Safety and RNLI, of there being the potential for a large swell to build (off the tail end of Hurricane Erin) coupled with spring tides, unfortunately we wont be offering any trips for the next couple of days. Sorry to those who have booked..better safe than sorry!

Take care and where possible visit a RNLI patrolled beach.

It never rains....but it pours โ˜”๏ธ

I was like a little excited school boy when I received confirmation that my fuel injection pump would be in the post, to be delivered today.

You can only imagine my disappointment to find its had a rough journey from Lancashire to Penzance.

Eager to get the pump ready to fit Friday morning, ive unboxed it, looking all shiny and new and then I notice it has been damaged ๐Ÿ’”

I dont know the severity of the damage, all I know is it can't be used in its current condition, It looks like the main shaft has been bent ๐Ÿ˜ข

It sucks!

I'll speak to the repair shop in the morning and see how we go...at best I might have it back next week.

A little update from the injection pump shop, the pump is stripped and awaiting assembly.

However...they have experienced a colleague with sticky fingers and are awaiting the ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ and are in the process of carrying out a stock take (they've lost parts/tools and ๐Ÿ’ฐ)

I was hoping to receive the pump this week, however it now looks to be next ๐Ÿ˜ฉ - i wouldn't want to put them under any further stresses.

๐Ÿ‘‹ Hello Everyone.

Firstly, apologies for the lack of updates recently.

Many of you know I had to remove an engine to complete an oil pump replacement, this has been done and the engine is back in the boat.

Ive then been waiting for my fuel pumps to return from repair/service, one has arrived and has been refitted but im still waiting on the return of the second (waiting for parts).

Maintenance this year, ended up on the backburner and im still playing catchup.

"Get a boat, itll be fun" they said ๐Ÿคฃ

With all that said, im not far away (๐Ÿคž) from being fully operational again and as soon as we are good to go, you'll know ๐Ÿ‘

Thank you to those that have offered help and support and for those who have "checked in", its greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to getting out and having a giggle.
