Helston RFC Helston RFC is a very friendly, community orientated rugby club. Dogs are welcome in the clubhouse.

However, due to some owners not being responsible they are not permitted on the sports field. "RUGBY", it would never get off the ground, was the word around Helston in 1965, when it was revealed that a few dedicated followers of the oval ball had gathered around a small table in the town's Red Lion public house and had agreed "let us form a rugby club." Helston RFC Mini & Junior sectionn was form

ed during the October of 1979, with a meeting held in the Halzphron Inn at Gunwalloe. Landlord at the time was John Mills, who became the clubs first president. Local police sergeant John Wherry was elected chairman, Chris Holloway, secretary, and Bob woods, another policeman, treasurer.

Massive congratulations to our very own Jack Sherratt aka “ Foxy”, who was selected to play for South West England against England Midlands today at Warwick. Sadly they lost 46-43 in a tough encounter! They get to battle again next week against England North, so good luck to them all.

Great work Jack, we are all very proud of you at HRFC 💙

Saturday 6th we will be open from 1030.
Sunday 7th from 1300,

We will be showing Both the Cornwall Women’s and Men’s matches.
Women kick off at 1100
Men at 1700.
