U19s Finals Day at Beacon Parc! 🏆🏏

​Today marks our very last home event of the season, our amazing ground staff have been working really hard and it is going to be a massive day of cricket!

We are incredibly proud to host the U19s Finals Day, welcoming Newquay and Werrington for a three-match thriller.

​We have a seriously exciting young squad ready to take the field and showcase the future of Helston CC. The clubhouse and bar are open all day, so come on down, enjoy the sunshine, and support the next generation of local talent!

Important Update for All Members 📋

​Helston CC has called an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) for Sunday, 20th September following Brad Bury stepping down as Chairman due to work commitments. We thank Brad for his service to the club.

​Until the EGM takes place, Vice Chairman Gary Smith will be temporarily taking charge of all club matters to ensure a smooth transition.

Please save the date for the 20th we will be meeting at 6pm

End of an Era: Dan Jenkin steps down as Captain 💙💙

​With a damp start to the final Saturday of the season (the 4s are already called off!), we caught up with 1st XI Captain Dan Jenkin.

​After 9 fantastic years leading the side, Dan is stepping down from the captaincy. Watch the full interview as he discusses his decision, pays a heartfelt tribute to the Grampound Road CC family following this week’s tragic news, and bids a fond farewell to our Aussie overseas players, Jayden and Harry.

​Our thoughts today are firmly with everyone at Grampound Road CC and the family of the young girl who tragically passed away this week. We will be raising funds at Beacon Parc tomorrow to contribute to the family’s crowdfunder. We stand with you. 🤝❤️

A massive thank you to our Aussie overseas duo who play their final game for us tomorrow after two brilliant seasons. The pair have had a massive impact at HCC and will always be remembered for their efforts on and off the field. We also have a few of the lads heading over to join them this winter for a season abroad!

We are celebrating their time with us with an Aussie-themed evening and BBQ at the club from 6:30 PM. All are welcome! 🍔🍻
