Help Grow the Mini Crusaders Rugby League Programme

North Wales Crusaders Foundation is looking to build and expand its Mini Crusaders Rugby League programme for children in Years 6–8 — and we’re looking for passionate coaches, volunteers, and local supporters to help make it happen.

This is an exciting opportunity to introduce more young people across local communities to rugby league through fun, inclusive, and accessible training sessions. We want to create regular local hubs where children can develop confidence, skills, fitness, teamwork, and a love for the game in a positive environment.

We are particularly keen to hear from:

* Coaches looking to stay involved during the summer months
* Former or current players wanting to give back to the community
* Volunteers interested in supporting grassroots sport
* Individuals passionate about youth development and community engagement

No previous rugby league experience is essential — support and guidance can be provided. What matters most is enthusiasm, reliability, and a desire to help young people enjoy sport.

By creating more local training opportunities, we can make the programme accessible to more families across North Wales and give children the chance to be part of a growing rugby league community.

If you would like to help start or support a local Mini Crusaders session in your area, we would love to hear from you.

Together, we can grow the game and create new opportunities for the next generation of players.
