Yesterday our boys travelled to the Bridlington AFC tournament.
A slow start against an exceptional Div 3 team and ultimate winners. Wouldn’t be surprised to seen then go up the leagues very soon 😉
After that the boys dug in and ground out a 1-1 draw before securing their place in the semi finals with a 1-0 win against Sproatley AFC.
Alas the semi final wasn’t meant to be, and proved to be our last game.
Well done boys!
Next we look to home turf, for the Hedon Rangers Tournament on Sunday 28th June! Should be a good day, if you can make it! Food, stalls, drinks ⚪️🔵⚪️🔵

Tough day at the office today for the boys. Struggling to get any meaningful momentum, against an efficient Beverley Town Bobcats.
Credit to the visitors, they manipulated the possession well and took their chances in both games.
Our boys came on strong towards the end of the second game and clawed a goal back, but time was against them.

Today the lads travelled to Driffield, with a depleted squad. Not that you would have guessed by the performance.

1-2 A Driffield started strong, had lots of possession and took an early lead. The lads hung in and slowly turned the game in there favour. A long and wide range rocket from Freddie ⚽️. Followed by a bottom corner rifle from Jacob ⚽️

0-0 Unbelievable score line really, as there were chances galore for both teams

Two really tight fought games today, high speed counter attacks & marauding runs from the back, to short sharp passing. Against Cottingham Rangers Blues.
The second games score line didn’t really reflect the game. Going for broke at the end, resulting in a last minute goal.

A controlled, dominant performance in the first game. Meant the lads came away with a convincing 1-5 win
Second game, Esperanza came out firing and took an early lead. The lads fought right to the final whistle, but couldn’t claw the goals they needed back. 3-1 loss
