Learn how to catch Carp with a friendly, knowledgeable and qualified level 2 angling coach with over 35 years experience in angling. My goal is to make you a better angler through dedicated tuition and coaching sessions that will boost your confidence in your ability and increase your understanding of carp fishing. Sessions are tailored to meet your needs whether it be advice on watercraft, featur

e finding, rigs, baiting techniques, or any other aspect. All abilities are catered for and whatever aspect of carp angling you want to learn more about I can help you with. Unlike most coaching sessions I will not be fishing myself and all my efforts will be focussed on helping you improve your skills and catch fish and hopefully beat your PB! Multiple options available from one to one sessions on local waters of your choice or on day ticket venues such as Linear Fisheries. I also offer the option of sessions with bait and hook baits supplied by Mainline and Monster particles as part of the package for the duration of the session. (additional costs will apply). Half day, single day, 24 hour sessions or longer available weekdays & weekends. Weekend sessions run from Saturday to Monday 8am and weekday sessions from Monday to Saturday 8am. Had a great week in France on Lac De Premiere with a brilliant bunch of lads. Managed 3 fish from Peg 3, a 50lb 8oz Common and two Mirrors of 47lb 8oz and 45lb 8oz. All caught on J Precision hooks and a selection of Mainline baits.

Hadn't been down Linear for a while but decided to book a 48hr on Manor to see how it had changed now they've made it bookings only.

I opted for peg 2 (the old peg 3) for this week as normally this time of year the road bank is the place to be as the fish tend to hold up in the deeper water when it gets cold, but after the extremely mild weather we have been having I wasnt sure whether they would be there or not.

This gorgeous mirror of 27lb 8oz didn't disappoint. Caught on a Mainline Cell wafter over a bed of buckwheat, sweetcorn and 10mm Cell.
