I love this line from Judith Hanson Lasater’s ‘𝘈 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘠𝘰𝘨𝘢’ and use her thoughts for the day as well as my own in many of my classes
We can forget that yoga is not just a string of exercises. Instead it’s more of a path of self discovery as we unearth sensations and knowledge about our physical bodies, but perhaps more importantly our mental state, strengths, weaknesses, personality traits etc
We might find ourselves in class being judgemental of others, or criticising ourselves and not listening to or respecting our bodies
Let’s make each movement a mindful one and discover our true state
