Cycle, Recycle!! Empty your shed! For a small charge you can properly recycle your old tubes and tyres with us. Tyres and tubes from bicycles, prams, buggies, wheelchairs, all recyled here.

It's here!! The bike is ready... 🙌🚴🙌

Thanks to the lovely for bringing it back to life... and shout out to the equally lovely for letting me use it while I embark upon Project Cargodale 2.0!!

I am delighted that are one of several local businesses to have signed up to the new delivery service, along with , , , , , and .

This is a great start but I am eager to add more! If you are a local business anywhere in the Calder Valley interested in an eco-friendly delivery service, then please do get in touch! Feel free to drop me a message and I can answer any questions you might have.

I will also be offering personal delivery services for things like supermarket runs, launderette collections, big heavy bags of compost from the garden centre... in fact, anything big/awkward/heavy... I'm your man! Again, please feel free to leave a comment or send me a message with any questions you might have.

I will be using this bike on a trial basis to see if it is suitable for my needs, but also just to see if it is possible to make another go of this and to see if there is sufficient interest to make it a worthwhile venture. I will need the help of the wonderful community I so miss providing this service for!

Should all go well I will be needing to raise startup funds, primarily to buy the bike on a permanent basis and also to cover other costs for things like storage, equipment and insurance. I will be launching a Crowdfunder in the coming weeks and I would be hugely grateful if you could donate anything you can afford towards this.

This drawing is by Steff Kelly an artist and good friend of the shop. She donated two amazing pieces of artwork to our Flood Fund, and we have sold her engraved glass in the shop. We don't usually do this, but Steph is urgently needing a new place to live. This is her advert:

Thanks to all who came along and joined our TrashMob! Storm Dave couldn't keep you away from clearing our local lovely trails, but it did keep you coming back in for cups of te and slices of cake. 8 massive bags of recycling and rubbish collected - great work!

We're hosting a TrashMob with TrashFreeTrails

Help give our trails a Spring clean this April 4th - we can supply bags and pickers if you need, and you can bring your trail trash down to us on the day. There'll be hot drinks, snacks and a warm welcome throughout the day.
