Preseason continued against Washington Golds. Another good run out today for both teams looking to get minutes into there players. Lots of rotation and minutes for Clegwell lads perfect for early preseason fitness and getting a look at some players in different positions.

The lads were back at training after a week off for their first session of the off season. Tonight we had a guest coach train the lads as we feel it’s important for lads to learn from different coaches and gain extra experiences from time to time. Thank you great coach highly recommended 🦅

Match Day. The lads were hosting the return fixture against South Moor. Plenty of positives from the game alongside lots of effort and good performances but when the tempo drops off a little you get punished in this league. Got to keep working hard all game as a team. Looking forward to the next game ⚽️ 🦅

Training day for lads getting put through their paces ahead of a fixture free weekend and turning their attention to eating plenty eggs. Huge thanks to the ever present Simon Cataldo of Cataldo Training Ltd who supports the lads on and off the pitch. This time bringing the lads chocolate and a little gift for the parents too. Its much appreciated from us all 🦅

Match Day seen the lads travel to Sunderland RCA and another chance to show what they’re capable of. All can say is Wow what a feeling to get one over the line. The coaches and parents are extremely proud of the lads digging deep and reaping the rewards for their efforts. The lads are buzzing. It’s been a tough old season and a learning curve each week of how unforgiving the league can be when you deserve more. Development isn’t always a straight line and can muddied by score line but it’s clear to see from the side. Well Done lads 🦅
