💙OUR NEXT FUNDRAISER FOR BENS DEN 💛
Ben's Den offers the families of children fighting cancer or leukaemia the chance to heal, recuperate and create happy memories by the seaside in a safe and comfortable place.
Over recent years we have organised multiple charity events for Ben's Den led by Troy Smith and with a fantastic support network from other members.
From the amazing generosity of people we have managed to collectively raise thousands of pounds across different challenges 😊
Long distance hiking has been our thing. Walking is seriously not to be underestimated, these have been tough challenges even for the fittest gym goers amongst us.
We have walked from Lady Bower to Derby. Heanor to Sheffield Hospital and this Friday we kick off several fundraising events during 2024 by walking 20 miles across the stunning Edale Skyline in the Peak District ⛰️⛰️⛰️
We made the call for participation in Jan and what a response we got. Nearly 60 of us will be embarking on Fridays challenge!!!
It has been non stop behind the scenes organising this event. From transport, training walks, meetings, route planning, t shirt orders and a non stop what’s app group 🤣
A huge thank you to everyone that has given up the time to train and take part in this challenge, amazing people. Each and every one of you ❤️
