"Kentish Mayde Player of the Match Award"

Due to Saturdays game being abandoned for rain without a ball being bowled it was unanimously decided that this weeks Birthday Boys should receive the award for the hours they have put into the club this season once again.
Bob Westrop (Left) who turns 79 tomorrow, is not just the clubs president. He also gives up his Saturday afternoons to officiate in the middle in some sweltering conditions and ruins batsmen's weekends. ☝🏼
Youngster Ian Barker (Right) who turns 70 tomorrow has spent hours and hours not just out on the ground preparing wickets for our Adult & Junior teams whilst battling droughts and water supply issues, but also a similar amount of time talking us through the problems the square has with moss throughout the winter.

With roughly 120 Years of dedication to Headcorn CC in a variety of roles both on and off the field, they not only share birthdays and a love of the club. But also a love of all things pastry. In particular Kentish Mayde's 1.5kg Chicken & Ham Pork Pie which is made using only the finest ingredients. 🥧

Another first for our "Kentish Mayde Player of the Match Award". This was the first time that two players walk away with not just the accolade but more importantly an Award Winning Pork Pie. On the left, David Brown for picking up 5-16 with his excellent "Dibbly Dobbly's" and James Barker for his 66 Not Out and finally remembering how to bat since July 2025.
