Was buzzing to share these photos and I couldn’t be prouder of 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑯𝒂𝒘𝒌𝒔𝒆𝒚 𝒙 and the effort she’s put into this process.

When Grace came to join us on the course in January, she had struggled with implementing a structure not only for results but for sustainability.

The classic “all or nothing quote” was thrown out there a lot

We was determined to make some brilliant progress (which she has done) BUT be realistic with social events, holidays and generally enjoying life so that it was manageable for the long run

I think in the 6 months we’ve worked together we’ve achieved that

The body composition and photos speak for themself, but Grace has enjoyed all the things she loved previously, but now knows how to respond, what to do when motivation levels drop and how to maintain standards with non-negotiable’s.

I couldn’t be prouder of her, and the performance within the gym that goes hand in hand (incentivised to keep turning up by seeing the progress from someone who had little experience to a confident lifter) has been superb as well!

Keep enjoying Ibiza grace and let’s keep smashing it when you’re back😁😎

Extremely proud of our and how far she has progressed within such a small amount of time

Like I’ve said on a previous video, Julie had a hip-replacement surgery last summer on that left side

So naturally the focus was on this side in particular, and I kid you not the difference is max 10-12 weeks 🤣

Along with a couple of holidays in-between 🤣 let’s keep it going Julie!

Our working hard as always! What a pleasure it is to train her.

This hasn’t been a short-term fix, we essentially had to take 1 step back to go 2 steps forward.

This meant stripping the weight on squats, RDL etc where the shift would become a lot more noticeable.

Incorporating mobility drills, along with unilateral work (single leg hip thrust, single leg assisted hip airplane, Bulgarians etc) along with any other variations.

To not only be physically capable of performing the action, but having the AWARENESS to know how to do it and when the shift starts to take place.

And this is why I love training Liz, she’s took that on board and done everything necessary (without being impatient) and now our performance is flying with a 70KG X 3 reps squat and 100kg on sumo deadlifts 😎

This along with the shift in mindset from being ‘all or nothing’ to enjoying herself as well as getting results!

Training your abs won’t mean you’ll lose bodyfat in that area

Yes it’ll make them more prominent when you lose the body-fat, but you CAN’T handpick where you want to lose the body-fat.

Us as individuals store body-fat in different areas, and where we lose the body-fat first or last or at a certain rate from a particular area is COMPLETELY individual.

And this may sound really frustrating, as it’s easy to compare ourselves to the best or another persons genetics etc.

But focusing on yourself, how far you’ve come in hindsight, and trusting the process to stay within that deficit for the desired time will produce the results you want.

2 sessions in and I’m buzzing with the progress already by the lads!

The consistency is getting there, and though we’ve still got plenty to learn

The awareness to perform the exercises properly and have an understanding of why we’re doing it is coming on leaps and bounds

Intrigued to see where we’re at by the end of the course 😎

One of my favourite coaching cues to date this one 🤣

But this is the importance of adapting; certain cues will relate ‘better’ to one individual more than it would with another.

And this is how we get to our desired outcome with consistent and identical reps.

It’s not one size fits all when it comes to coaching 😎

But love coming out my comfort zone and trying something different, even if the swim didn’t go as anticipated🤣
