Martial arts club, teaching Tai Chi, Kung Fu and Chinese Kickboxing...

We’ve been teaching classes in Mid Sussex now for 10 years and are very proud to have a very welcoming community of like minded people who enjoy staying fit and healthy together, training in the traditional martial arts of Tai Chi and Kung Fu as well as the modern sports based art of Chinese Kickboxing.

You may be more focussed on the meditative, calm and gentle Tai Chi - which is great for a whole host of things - from health conditions, rehabilitation of injuries to just feeling stronger, more energetic and full of life. As the saying goes, “Tai Chi adds years to your life, and life to your years”

Kung Fu is a little more vigorous and we offer a range of classes in Haywards Heath and Horsham. Kung Fu focuses more on self defence applications and routines (or forms) and a is a very unique way to get fit and healthy - most people worry that they won’t be fit enough to start (or are too old) but we’ve got students in their 60’s who are still training, as well as families who train together in our weekend classes on a Saturday and Sunday morning. It really is for everyone - and we are always welcoming to new students - even the most advanced student or instructor was a beginner once and as White Crane practitioners, everyone is taught humility and respect.

Chinese kickboxing is a fast-paced class and we have weekly sessions in Haywards Heath, Bolnore Village and Balcombe. The classes are a great way to learn the skills of kickboxing as well as have fun, get (and stay) fit, strong and flexible. The classes emphasise dynamic fitness, pad and partnered work and for those who would like to, there is the opportunity to take part in sparring practice and even train for competitions. So whether you’d like to just burn a few calories, or you want to immerse yourself in kickboxing and try competing, the classes are suitable. For those who like to get out of the gym and try something a little bit different, they are a great option!
