⛳ A HUGE well done to our Men’s Vice Captain, Darren! 👏👏

On Saturday 29th August, Darren took on the incredible challenge of playing 72 holes in ONE DAY — all in support of a fantastic charity!
​
And remember that really wet Saturday we had recently? Yep… that was the day! Despite the conditions, Darren powered through all 72 holes. What an amazing achievement!

Last Wednesday, our Ladies enjoyed a very special morning in memory of our wonderful Hazel.
​
What a fantastic turnout, and thank you to everyone for embracing what Hazel wore best – leopard print! There were some fabulous outfits and plenty of glamour on show.
​
The 9-hole competition was followed by a delicious Ploughman’s lunch in the clubhouse – a lovely way to round off a very special morning.
​

⛳ Meet our Presidents - Wendy!
​
A member of Cuckfield since 2007, she originally planned to learn the game with us before moving on to an 18-hole course. Nearly 20 years later, she’s still here — and a big part of what has kept her at Cuckfield is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of our Ladies’ section.
​
Over the years, she has enjoyed everything from Division matches and Club competitions to social golf, including our monthly competitions that bring all sections of the Club together.
​
Sport has always been important to her. From playing lacrosse on the wing at school to continuing with tennis and swimming each week, staying active is all part of the plan to keep enjoying golf for many years to come!
​
And her favourite hole? The 3rd. Its dogleg makes it particularly interesting — and she’s hoping our new holes might include something with a similar challenge. ⛳
​
