They beat Norfolk & Bedfordshire but just lost out to winners Suffolk in a close battle!

The team are off to St George’s College to compete against two of the following counties Surrey, Kent & Middlesex with Captain Colin Piper.

As well as winning the 12U boys & girls Sussex County Championships, Will & Sophia are invited to the Babolat Cup UK 2026 finals!

This event takes place on September 19th & 20th at the prestigious Edgbaston Priory Club in Birmingham.

For the first time, the finals weekend will be a LTA Grade 3 tournament.

The winners crowned will earn entry into the Babolat Cup Masters 2026, as well as a 12 month sponsorship contract with Babolat!

🏆 That’s a wrap on the 2026 Sussex County Championships! 🏆

A very big thank you to everyone who competed, and to all the supporters who came along and helped make the event such a fantastic one!

A huge thank you also to all of our officials, and of course to our referee, Dan Bartlett, for keeping everything running smoothly.

We’d also like to thank Southdown for hosting us for another year, and Bede’s School for sponsoring the event once again.

We hope to see you all again next year!
