Hi, that was a better weekend of retro 26" mountain bike frolicking about the wood at Cardinham. Sunshine and a great turnout, with thanks to Paul Blackburn for organizing it.
The ride was shot beautifully by Will Harper-Penrose, he really caught the whole vibe of the day perfectly. I'm sure we'll all look forward to the next one! Ash. (Will's photos in the link below) 😃

A nice custom build to end on before Christmas. Thanks for all of your interest over the past year, it's been fantastic with all the different people passing through the county, both up and down. It's always great to see regular customers throughout the year too.
I'll be having a break over January and will reopen Monday 2nd of February 2026.

Poldice gears up: A New Era for Mountain Biking?
For some time we’ve been working alongside other members of the Wheal Maid Solutions Group, Gwennap Parish Council (who own the land) and Mei Loci, specialist Landscape Architects and Consultants, to develop a strategic vision for the future of the Wheal Maid Valley, the area most people here know simply as ‘Poldice’.
The proposals focus on:
· Providing an exciting and multi skill off road cycling Hub
· Enhancing leisure access for walkers, cyclists, horse riders and families
· Protecting and celebrating the unique landscape, heritage and ecology
It’s now time to now share these emerging plans with the community and to hear your thoughts.
There will be a drop-in session @ Crofthandy Village Hall on Wednesday 21st January from 2:00pm onwards where you can view the plans and speak with:
· Parish Councillors
· Mei Loci representatives
· Members of the Wheal Maid Solutions Group
This is your opportunity to help shape the future of Poldice so if you want to find out more and have your voice heard, drop in on the 21st.
