Ten board challenge

Ten board challenge Girls fun surf competition supported by the National Trust at Godrevy Beach, Cornwall, 28th June 2015 Full description and update coming soon!

The Girls Ten Board Challenge 2014 will take place at Godrevy Beach on the 28th June. It's a girls only competition with emphasis on style and stoke. An eclectic mix of boards, including hand planes, logs, fishes, fun boards and single fins. The competitors draw numbers to find out which board they get. This makes the competition fun and levels the playing field so all kinds of surfers can compete

together. It's the perfect opportunity to try some different boards and compete in a laid back atmosphere. The event is supported by the National Trust and we have some amazing prizes from Vans and Finisterre. So keep your eyes on this page cause you don't want to miss out on this! Spaces are limited to 32, so get your entries in soon ;-)

We've been watching the forecast closely all week hoping it might settle! ...Unfortunately due to the weather and surf forecast for Sunday we have decided to postpone the girls 10 board challenge. The whole point of the event is to get together, hang out and have fun on new boards the forecast for Sunday would make this very difficult at Godrevy. Let's try again in May when it will be sunny, offshore and dreamy.......

This year's comp should be fun! We have a nice eclectic mix of boards from skin dog, cord / beach beat, a fancy soft top ,possibly a couple boards from slide 65 and some exotics from Down the Line. Can't wait! Surf has finally arrived too

Thanks for all your patience! We finally found a date :-) This year's 10 board challenge will take place at Godrevy Beach on the sunday the 1st of October. Limited spaces available, so get your entries in ASAP. It's £10 on the day to cover RNLI cost etc.. :-)

Hi everyone, I'm sad to tell you that we couldn't find a date this year for the Ten Board Challenge! We thought we might organise it for October, but The National Trust's calendar wouldn't permit it. We're currently looking for a date early summer next year. So keep your eyes on the page, I will post it as soon as it's fixed..Until then, happy sliding and I see you soon ###
