A couple of highlights as the Under 11s started the new season today with an away match against Pass & Move Black!

The guys where superb from minute one, goals galore today and also defensively solid.

Think all the players where clearly very keen to get the season started 💪🏻⚽️

Each outfield player got onto the score sheet!

After a tough first game back last week, the U12s kicked there season back off with a 2-1 away win for the Hawks U12s today against Hollington.

Showed good resilience coming from 1-0 down.
But the guys ground out a result. Some good passages of play.

Scorers today were Ben C and Finley M ⚽️⚽️

Player of the week was Ben Corless with a goal and an assist, and some good all round play and work rate.

U9s had a busy morning welcoming 4 teams from Tunbridge Wells Foresters to our home ground!

The Raptors, Dynamos & Tornadoes all had plenty of game time and put in some stellar performances.

This year the team has been very kindly sponsored by Hawkhurst Cafe & Restaurant who have provided all of our brilliant young players with a new match kit for the next 2 years.

Some new faces are also making appearances for the teams!

Players of the match this week are :

George for the Raptors -

George today worked tirelessly for the team. In a hard position on the right wing to go up and down for an hour of football is impressive. He linked up some lovely football today and topped of his performance with a goal that he never gave up on.
Doing all that with only 1 eye as well. 🙊😂

Well done George. ⚽️

Theo for the Dynamos -

He really was a Dynamo this morning didn't stop running and working hard for the team. Driving forwards with purpose, defending well, trying to find a good pass and brave throughout 👏

Max for the Tornadoes -

He was fantastic today, up and down the wing affecting the game at both ends of the pitch. He capped his amazing performance off with two well taken goals. His improvement from last season has been fantastic, what a start to the season!

Another Saturday and this time a home game for the U8s

United took on St Leonard’s Pacers -

A really physical game today! The team really tried to get the ball down and play. A real highlight of the game was 3 super team goals from back to front and really quick football from the team. Exactly what the team have been working on.

Falcons took on Seddlescombe Rangers white -

A really tight game! The game ran close right to the end. The team never gave up, run all over the pitch and are really starting to improve each game day. Another great finish from Ralph!

Thank you so much to the Highgate Hawkhurst Women's Institute & to all those who took part in the Hawkhurst 5 & 10 KM 2026 for supporting young people play sport in the local community!

Without donations like this we cannot survive, we really appreciate it. This goes along way to being able to help young people to have a space to play sport in a safe and fun environment!

Our Under 12s started the Rother League season yesterday against Eastbourne Albion!

The guys have had a great pre season, they have played some strong teams and have really held their own.

As football goes sometimes, they had a tough day at the office yesterday, but they battled all the way to the end.

We are looking forward to seeing how this group gets on in another season under the coaching team of Carl, Scott & Dave!

Raptors, Dynamos & Tornadoes all back to it today in a Hawkhurst Mini tournament!

Forest Row & Goudhurst the visitors today!

Some great football all round, all 3 of our teams stuck to it in all of there games and also welcomed some new faces to the fold ⚽️

Players of the match -

Jack : player of the match for the Raptors.

Today Jack was once again very strong defensively. Winning the majority of his duels. Moving players around today Jack also played some games at right wing which I thought he did well. Calmly scored a penalty as well. Very energetic but still naturally drifted back in to defence 😂

Well done Jack.

Ahmed : Player of the match today for the tornadoes was Ahmed. For his first game for the tornadoes debuts don’t come much better with two goals and plenty of action. He played in every position today and was excellent throughout. Well done Ahmed 🌪️

Will : player of the Match: Dynamos

Our new teammate played brilliantly considering it was only his 2nd game with us, very calm, focussed and brave, with and without the ball, using his footballing brain excellently. Scoring some good goals along the way too!
