On Tuesday 16th June there will be a free trial class for anyone wishing to join freestyle class 1/2 with Miss Sammi In September 2026.

The class is at 5.30-6.15 and is open to current students and new students. Aged 5+

Getting exciting now. Dress rehersal was today and even of i say myself it looked fantastic, dances are brilliant, costumes are amazing and the dancers are so talented and make me such a proud teacher.

In 2026 the Shirley School of Dancing turned 73!

73 years of amazing students, brilliant exams results and fabulous shows which showcase the talents all of our fantastic students who every year continue to succeed the year before.

In 3 weeks the Cast of the Shirley School of dancing will be returning to theatre clwyd to present Dancerama 2026.

What a show its proving to be. Songs and dances for an audience of all ages.

I cant believe this.......we are mid way through rehersals now for our show in Theatr Clwyd. Time is going so quickly!

Just like that today we had our first full rehersal for the Shirley School of Dancing annual show.

After a few years in William Aston Hall we return back to Theatr Clwyd in a few weeks
for what is proving to be a fantastic show. Lots of songs and dancing for all to enjoy.

What are you doing 26th or 27th June. Fancy a night out at the theatre watching your local dance school perform.

2026 is the 73rd Anniversary of the Shirley School of Dancing and our first show back in Theatr Clwyd after the refurbishment and we are all so excited to be back.

Last night the Shirley School of Dancing celebrated their amazing exam results at our award ceremony.

The results were outstanding, just goes to show what hard work can achieve when you out your mind too it.

So very proud of them all.

Im sorry to say we are unable to accept any new students until September as we are now in rehersals ready for our Annual show which takes place in June in Theatr Clwyd.

Please come along and support our amazing students and see what we do before you enrol your child on our books for the new term.

We do however have spaces in our pre school classes on Saturday mornings 10.00-10.30. These are very informal classes for children aged 2-4 where we dance to music that is familiar to them incorporating basic ballet steps along the way.
