First up is Jonathan Bailey. (11, Black Combe Runners) Jon has supported and entered our events from day one and finished last year in 32nd in a time of 1:00:20. Sure you will smash it and get under an hour this year mate.🙏👍

Next is Mathew Warby (115) Matt finished in 46 position last year and said he would only enter this year if he gets a special medal.😂 Have to see what we can do. Cheers bud🙏👍

Then it’s the husband and wife combo. Steven (69 Millom Striders) and Victoria Phillips(68 Millom Striders) both finishing a respectable Steven 55 and Victoria 61. Steven was also one of our lucky Random Runners Raffle winners. 🙏👍

First of all , thank you for the nice comments the other night. Some funny , some lovely. It’s all been sorted now. A line has been drawn under it all. Took post down , we’re all friends ,let’s move on.😊👍

First up is last years winner Scott Smith,(132)Hoad Hill Harriers,who didn’t just win but also broke the men’s record 43:21 from Kevin Wallace , Cumberland AC 43:46 (2024) , but this is the bit that will hurt him , unbeknown to the flying hoadie , he was just 5 seconds of Kate Maltbys overall 7 miler record of 43:16. (2024). This is the last one mate ,have you got it in you to go 6 seconds faster and be the legend of the 7 Miler forever.😂😂

Next is Jim Nolan(55), Millom Striders who did great last year. Finishing a time off 1:0025. Come on Jim, big push this year to get under an hour.😊👍

Next is Jenna Pugh (56) one half of the awesome duo Cagney and Lacey. Jenna has always supported our event and has been keeping fit doing plenty of other events this year. Thank you.😊👍

In the up and coming weeks , we are expecting these to go down rapid . Don’t leave it to late to take part in the last 7 miler ,as in previous years we’ve had to tell people there’s no places left. Don’t be one of those people . Plenty of prizes up for grabs…..

Club cup . (First 5 mixed male or female home. Add the positions up and lowest score wins. So for example if one club’s runners finish in positions 1,5,56, 79 and 100 add them together that’s there score.) so every position counts.😊👍…
Random Runners Raffle…(10 prizes for 10 random placed finishes. So you could place 89 and still take a prize home)…
Last 3 legends home. (Any 3 m/f last across the finish line wins a prize)…

A raffle will be held inside The Ski Bar as well…
