THANK YOU 💜

A huge, heartfelt thank you to all our dancers, past and present, and their families for being part of our school. I am exceptionally proud of what we have achieved together over the last 14+ years. Thank you for your hard work and support during all the shows, exams, village fetes, displays and weekly classes.

Seeing students grow in confidence, build dance skills, and friendships has been a pleasure. Seeing our dancers support each other during this final (and emotional!!) week has been inspiring and made me particularly proud.

Miss Jo and I would like to thank you for all the beautiful cards, flowers, gifts and kind words. They are much appreciated. We will miss you very much!!

I hope your love of dancing continues for a lifetime, and wish you every happiness and success for the future.

Wow! What a fantastic weekend!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped at the shows this weekend- you were absolutely amazing!

Dancers, you performed brilliantly and your behaviour backstage was superb. Seeing you all dance excitedly backstage and helping each other in the dressing rooms is amazing, I couldn’t ask for more. I am exceptionally proud of you all.

Thank you very much to all the wonderful adult helpers who so kindly gave up their time to help us backstage (and last Sunday.) Thank you for all your time, effort and patience. What a great team!

Ballet exams day 2&3 complete 🎉

Thank you very much to all of our Balsham Feast performers this weekend and Horseheath Fete a few weeks ago. Really lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves and super to get back to all these events together again after so long!

Huge thank you to all the ballet exams students who came to extra practises today! The concentration and effort levels were fantastic. Seeing the students relax enjoying the exam setting and seeing their progress makes is absolutely worthwhile. Thank you very much for your support at such a busy of time of year (and especially this busy weekend!)

We look forward to seeing you for normal classes this week.

Happy Summer everyone!

Thank you very much for all your support and hard work this term. We had a busy week of end of term performances, some recorded and some live, but all absolutely great. After such a long time not being able to perform it was wonderful to see everyone confidently enjoying themselves. You should all feel proud of your achievements and progress this term.

We also need to say a very fond farewell, congratulations and good luck to two of our senior students - Suzi and Josh who are both off to study full time at prestige dance colleges in September. We are exceptionally proud of you and wish you all the luck in the world.

Happy half term!

A huge thank you to everyone for your support and cooperation in returning to classes. The children have been absolutely amazing adapting to the new routines of drop off etc and it has been a joy to be back in class with them. Thank you very much for your help with this.

Classes return from Saturday June 5th.

I hope you have a lovely half term break. Fingers crossed the sun stays out!

Absolutely AMAZING to be back to dancing today!

Linton dancers you were fantastic! So calm and sensible coming in and just wonderful to see your happy faces dancing and see you all again. We have missed you all so much!

Balsham classes- look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.
Ridgewell classes- see you on May 12th!

Class update

As I am sure you are already aware, the latest lockdown restrictions mean we sadly cannot start classes again yet.
We will review the situation again during the christmas break with hopes to restart in the new year.
Please give my very best wishes to all of our dancers and hope to see you soon!

Dear Parents and Dancers,

Sadly, I have decided to delay the restarting of our classes.

With the current social distancing rules in place there will be significant restrictions placed on both the running of classes and the logistics between class change overs. The venues which we use have also put in place very strict rules which I must respect.

As you will all be aware, we have pupils from many different schools and bubbles in the local area, and classes will only increase the amount of contact across these groups. I'm aware that after the restart of the school terms there are already several suspected Covid-19 cases in the area, and I feel it is unnecessary to risk further spread of the illness.

For this reason I do not feel that I can safely open classes in the current situation, and teach in a way which the pupils and I will enjoy. I am also keen to avoid starting lessons and having to stop once again, as may be likely within weeks.

I regret that this is a decision that I must make and I hope that you can all understand my reasons for doing so. I will review the situation in October half term and keep you informed of our new start date.
