We caught up with Hydro Collective athlete Jay to see how preparations for Norseman Xtreme Triathlon are progressing 🇳🇴

“Months of hard work and commitment are starting to pay off. Every early morning and tough session has been part of the journey. The goal has always been more than just finishing – it’s been about giving myself the best chance to compete and earn that black T-shirt.

The Slateman Legend was another positive step: 2nd in my age group and 14th overall. I’m pleased with the result, but I also know there’s more to come. It wasn’t my best race, which gives me plenty to build on heading into the next phase.

Peak training is nearly here, and the work behind the scenes is starting to show. We’re building towards something exciting.”

“Since swimming in the BlueSeventy Reaction wetsuit, I’ve found swimming much easier and more enjoyable. The flexible shoulder design gives me a full, natural swim stroke with minimal resistance, helping to reduce fatigue on longer swims.

The buoyancy helps me maintain a strong body position in open water, making every swim feel more efficient.

The quality is outstanding – durable, comfortable and exceptionally well made. Just make sure to use the cotton gloves provided when putting it on to avoid accidental tears!

The women’s-specific fit is fantastic, offering comfort without restricting movement around the hips and chest. BlueSeventy were also incredibly helpful in recommending the right size based on my height, weight and body shape 🤩”
