🏚️ WHAT SECRETS COULD STILL BE WAITING INSIDE SCOLTON MANOR? 👻

On Saturday 7th November, Devon & Cornwall Paranormal Investigators will be spending the night inside one of Pembrokeshire's historic country houses.

But before we investigate, let's take a look at the history of the place we're heading to...

The Scolton Manor we see today was completed in 1842 for James Higgon, although the Higgon family's connection with the estate goes back to 1594. In fact, the history of Scolton stretches back even further, with records mentioning the estate as far back as the 14th century.

The old manor house was eventually destroyed by a catastrophic fire before the family returned and the present Victorian manor was built.

And Scolton's history didn't stop there.

During the Second World War, the manor was used as a convalescent hospital for servicemen, caring for soldiers, sailors and airmen.

That's centuries of history.

Generations of people.

Lives lived within these walls.

And on 7th November, we'll be there after dark to investigate what, if anything, may still remain.

🔦 We'll be using a range of paranormal investigation techniques and equipment throughout the night, giving you the opportunity to get involved and experience the investigation for yourself.

Look at these Golden Scalycap mushrooms spotted growing in our park last week 🍄

Noticeable due to their bright yellow colouring, Golden Scalycaps like to grow in tufts from deciduous trees and logs, especially beech trees. (Please note, Golden Scalycaps are not an edible mushroom.)
