🏏🏏UNDER 13s RESULT 🏏🏏
On Thursday we travelled to Cresselly to play the Cresselly Doves, a very accomplished team indeed!
We won the toss & elected to bat, only managing to reach 39 against some excellent bowling. In reply, Cresselly overtook our score in the 8th over for 1 wicket (Courtesy of Billy Devonald) And, as Pete said " Tough one for us tonight…they are a very strong team! Boys tried hard! Only had ten in the end which made it a little bit trickier! We move on and make sure we give hook a good game next week! 🏏🏏
Well done to Logan on getting player of the match…really dug in and stayed there…in only his 2nd match and first time batting! Also, great to have Jack back after his serious injury!! 👏👏💪 "

Last night saw the Alec Colley cup game between Tish 2's and Haverfordwest 2's. After being asked to bat we had a poor start as 9-2 became 25-3 , but an excellent partnership between Dylan McGuire and Oli Rees got us back in the game before Dylan was bowled after reaching his first adult 50. With Oli taking control for the final few overs he finished 30 not out and we got to 109 for 6 .
In reply Oli still fired up opened the bowling with Lennie Rees and both bowled well before the rain came and called time on the game with Haverfordwest 71 for 0 but both teams still in the game . game rearrange for Monday. Thanks to our ball sponsors at C & D Mobile Vehicle Repair

Our Ladies welcomed Burton CC this evening & managed to play the game in all the murk & mist. Our thanks to the Burton Ladies for agreeing to play in such unpleasant circumstances.

Our Under 11s welcomed Hook to a very damp & murky Tish this evening.

We only managed to take 3 wickets (2 for Pippa & 1 for Phoenix) & not many runs. However, Hook are a very good side so be proud of how you played.

Our player of the match was awarded to Phoenix for her wicket & several runs, which included a four 👏

Our Under 9s travelled to Hook on Sunday & enjoyed a great morning of cricket.

The 1st XI welcomed Cresselly 1sts to Tish & had a dire day in the field. We won the toss & put ourselves into bat, scoring 122 for 9. Phil Lewellyn top scored with 19. Lewis Rhead 2-30 & Andrew Pawlett 1-44 c&b.
The boys provided a superb tea which was the highlight of the day 😊

For the 2nd XI, yesterday's cricket meant the trip north to Llechryd Cricket Club as Tish 2's took on the home 2's team. Winning the toss, captain Stuart batted first as usual and as Nathan continued his good form with 31, Charlie coming in at 3 and hitting 60, with 27 from Oli, 21n.o off 10 balls for Stuart and an fine 20 not out for Maddox took us to 204/7 off 35 overs.
In reply Tish bowling was only bettered by some exceptional fielding and catching with 3 wickets for Oli, 2 for Charlie and 1 each for Caydyn, Luca , Owen and Dylan Ninnis as we wrapped up a convincing win. Full details here https://stishmaels.play-cricket.com/website/results/7522354
