Be part of Chichester Harbour’s native oyster restoration story…
From 11-15 May we need an army of volunteers to scrub the 20,000 oysters that will be making their home
on Chichester Harbour’s new native oyster habitat.
The Solent Seascape Project oyster team led by Blue Marine Foundation will be hosting the events at the University of Portsmouth’s Institute of Marine Sciences.
📅 When:
Monday 11 May to Friday 15 May. 9.30am – 4.30pm.
(With a lunchtime pizza party!)
📍 Location:
Institute of Marine Science, University of Portsmouth, Southsea, PO4 9LY
🦪 What you’ll be doing: scrubbing oysters to remove any dirt and other animals; giving them a bath to ensure they are extra clean before they are placed on our new reef in Chichester Harbour.
