Every cake purchased helps support our fundraising efforts, allowing us to create as many exciting opportunities as possible for our dancers, including performances and unforgettable experiences.

✨ DISNEY 2027 - THE JOURNEY HAS BEGUN! ✨

Our Disney Squad have officially started training, and we are so proud of the dedication, commitment, and enthusiasm they’ve already shown! 🏰💫

In May 2027, these incredible dancers will be heading to Disney to perform on an international stage - a truly unforgettable opportunity and a dream come true for so many of them. 🌍✨

Since being selected, they’ve thrown themselves into rehearsals, working hard, supporting one another, and taking the first exciting steps towards this magical adventure. Watching them grow as performers and as a team is already inspiring. 💖

To help make this dream a reality, we’ll soon be launching our “Miles to the Magic” campaign. There are 360 miles from Portsmouth to Disneyland Paris - and we’d love you to sponsor one or more of them to help us on our way! 🛣️

Every mile sponsored is a huge show of support and helps to contribute towards performance expenses such as costumes. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. Your encouragement means the world to our dancers and their families. 💕

So proud of 3 of our festival team dancers Southampton Stage Dance Festival this week ✨

They all danced their solos beautifully in very strong categories and represented Swatridge’s Academy of Dance so well.

⭐️ Rose - 11 years Classical Ballet

🥈 Livinia - 5 years and under Classical Ballet
🥇 Livinia - 5 years and under Character/Narrative

The amount of hard work, practice and determination that goes into preparing for festivals never goes unnoticed, and it’s been amazing to see how much these dancers have grown in confidence, performance and resilience since starting their festival journeys ❤️

A huge well done to all three dancers - we are incredibly proud of you all 👏🏻✨

We’re so proud of all our students who recently took their Royal Academy of Dance ballet exams and class awards! 🩰

A huge congratulations to everyone who participated in:

• Primary
• Grade 1
• Grade 2
• Grade 3
• Grade 6
• Grade 8

We are delighted to have the results back, with an amazing mix of High Merits, Distinctions and High Distinctions across the board! 🌟

Exams and class awards are about so much more than achieving a result. They help children develop confidence, discipline, resilience, musicality, focus and a real sense of achievement. Preparing for exams also encourages goal setting, teamwork and pride in their own progress - valuable skills that reach far beyond the dance studio. 💫

We are incredibly proud of every student for their hard work, commitment and bravery, and thankful to our teachers and families for their continued support. Well done everyone! 🤍

We are SO proud to announce the amazing results from our recent ITSD Tap Exams! 🌟👯‍♀️

A huge congratulations to all of our superstar dancers who took their Grade 1 and Grade 2 Tap exams a few weeks ago - your hard work, dedication, and commitment truly paid off! ✨

Every dancer should be incredibly proud of themselves for the effort they put in during classes, rehearsals, and exam day. Watching your confidence and technique grow has been amazing, and these fantastic results are so well deserved! 👏
