🌟 Wiggles & Giggles! 🌟

Our Wiggles & Giggles class is specially designed for our youngest dancers aged one and a half to three years — it’s a joyful introduction to the wonderful world of dance! 🥰

You can expect - fun music, lots of movement, and plenty of bright, colourful sensory and musical props to keep little ones exploring, discovering and having fun! 🎶🌈

Along the way, your little dancer will develop confidence, balance, strength, and coordination - all while enjoying precious time with their grown-up. 💕

It’s also a lovely opportunity for adults and little ones to make new friends in a warm, friendly and inclusive environment. 👋

And there’s even the chance to take part in their very first dance show in January! 🥹✨ For those who would like to join in, it’s such a special milestone — and our tiniest dancers are ALWAYS one of the highlights of the show! ❤️

So come along - wiggle, giggle, dance and explore together with your little one and enjoy lots of exciting new adventures! 🌟

It’s been a long, hot summer…but the holidays are officially OVER — and that means our superstars are heading back to the classroom AND back to dance! 🌟

To every pupil starting or returning to school this week — good luck! Whether you're rocking a brand new uniform, meeting a new teacher, or just trying to remember which classroom is yours 😅, we know you're going to smash it!

And once your school bags are unpacked, don't forget those dance shoes need dusting off too — it's almost time to swap the sunshine for some serious spins, leaps and pliés! 🩰✨

Here's to a fantastic term of learning your ABCs, 1,2,3s…and lots of 5,6,7,8s…because it’s time to start working on our show! 🎶📖🧑‍🩰

At Swatridge’s Academy of Dance, our Musical Theatre classes are all about bringing the magic of the stage to life! 🌟

Our performers get to develop their very own TRIPLE THREAT skills — 🎶 singing, 💃 dancing & 🎭 acting — while having an absolute blast along the way!

But Musical Theatre is about SO much more than performing. Our classes help pupils develop:

✨ MILES TO THE MAGIC! ✨

Swatridge’s Academy of Dance are taking on the exciting challenge to perform at Disneyland Paris! BUT, we need your help to get there!

We're looking for family, friends and supporters to help us along the way by sponsoring a mile of our journey. This will support our dancers immensely by, for example, allowing us to purchase high quality costumes and props for their performance.

🗺️ We have 360 miles to complete (…the distance between Portsmouth and Disneyland Paris!) Here’s how you can help…

❤️ Suggested donation: £5 per mile
🤍 Sponsor one mile or as many as you'd like!

What a way to spend the summer holidays! Swatridge's Academy of Dance turned up the sunshine last week with two full days of dancing, games, crafts, and pure summer fun! 🎨🌞✨

Our superstars channelled their inner Michael Jackson with some seriously smooth moves, shook it off Taylor Swift style in their newly decorated sunglasses and friendship bracelets - and gave it all a whole lot of sass and smiles. Between the dancing, we had crafty creations galore, giggles during games, and enough energy to power a whole arena tour! 🖍️🎭 ⚽🎲

Huge well done to all our fabulous dancers — you all deserve a standing ovation! 👏🌟

We’re SO excited to finally share our Pre-School Classes for September 2026! 🩰✨

If you have a little one who loves to dance, sing, move and have fun, our youngest classes are the perfect place to start! 💗

From their very first steps in ballet and tap to acro, musical movement and lots of fun, our pre-school classes are all about building confidence, encouraging creativity and creating a love of dance from the very beginning. 🌟
