Congrats to 🦢 After an even first half, we missed a second half penalty at 0-0. Our opposition’s immediate response was to score two quick goals which left us a mountain that we were unable to climb.

Everyone at the club are shocked and saddened by the passing of former Hawks player Christian Rowe.

Our thoughts are with Christian’s friends and family at this awful and difficult time.

For the first time since we launched as a tea
we occupy 🔝 spot in our respective league.

Whether we’ll stay there for long, who knows, but it’s certainly something that should be celebrated. 🎉 It’s taken a lot of hard work to get into this position.

Yesterday we hosted Sway Juniors at Front Lawn Community Hub in what was their first Hampshire Girls Youth game since their promotion.

We were able to pick up a 4-2 win thanks to goals from Rosie and Ellie (3).

Despite 🌧 we were able to get our game on today, coming away with a victory against a talented Petersfield Town Juniors FC side. After a poor start to the season, we've now picked up three wins in a row.

Havant & Waterlooville 4-2 Pace Youth Jaguars

Yesterday was our first home fixture of the Hampshire Girls Youth Football League season against 🔝 of the table and unbeaten Pace Youth FC Jaguars.

We overcame the disappointment of losing our two goal lead to react positively, scoring two more in a 4-2 win. 🙌 Ella and Ellie J grabbing a brace each. 🦅

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone at Wi******er City Flyers for their hard work in organising this mornings U16 tournament.

Sadly it took too long before we found our rhythm to have any chance of making the finals, never the less it was great preparation for the start of the Hampshire Girls Youth Football League.

It’s with great sadness that we announce that our top scorer Grace will be leaving us. But it’s with great pride that she’ll be leaving to join Portsmouth FC to compete in the JPL. Thanks for everything Grace! 💙💛

Another departing player summer is Vakare. One of the most naturally talented dribblers of the ball we’ve seen in girls football. You’ll be missed, best wishes in your future. 💙💛

In exciting news, we are over the moon to welcome Rosie, Molly, April and Ellie from Chichester & Selsey. Their experience of playing up in the U16s last year will no doubt be valuable in our upcoming Hampshire Girls Youth Football League season. 💙💛

Thank you to Gary Pratt and the Havant & Waterlooville F.C. staff for hosting yesterday. We had a great time and are over the moon to have come away U16 winners 🏆 Especially as we had to overcome tough opposition including Mudeford Phoenix, AFC Portchester and Hamble Youth FC to do so.

💬 said, “I’m so proud and pleased for both teams who competed. Together they had a record of W5 D4 L2.

“This is our second tournament win in a row. 🏆🏆 Granted the other was two years ago at AFC Portchester but we’ll blame that on COVID for that one.”
