If you could wave a magic wand and lose a stone overnight would you do it?

The other day I heard someone say, ‘'If I could pay £500 and the weight would come off right now I’d do it''.

Now, unfortunately, it doesn’t quite work like that.

You're the one that has to do the work.

I also don’t have access to a magic wand…yet.

But, I've spoken to a lot of guys who have been struggling lately.

Here's how we did it 👇

Like many men in their mid-30s, Simon had, in his own words, "settled into a routine of too many weekend beers and unhealthy eating habits." As a result, he found himself battling excess belly fat and a lack of muscle. This not only made most of his wardrobe ill-fitting but also left him feeling unhappy and lacking confidence—especially for someone who took pride in his appearance.

Having a full time job alongside running a pretty successful second business meant we needed to make the most of his time.

It was easier when you were in your 20’s.

But when you’ve got 2 kids and you’re running your own business it’s not that simple.

Nathan had never really had to lose weight before. Like a lot of guys I speak to throughout his teens and 20’s he’d been pretty active, played a lot of sport and his body just took care of itself.

Unfortunately, there comes a point (usually in your 30’s) where that just doesn't cut it anymore.

Over the last few years he was focused on building a successful business and starting a family.

His priorities had shifted and in his own words, he'd let himself go.

He knew that to be able to perform at his best for his business and his family he needed to make sure he was looking after himself and making his health a priority. ⠀

He wanted to feel like himself again and get back that feeling where he could feel confident walking around in a t-shirt without his belly showing.

Rather than give him something that that would make his life harder - we worked within his time constraints - planning in work and family time first and fitting training around that.

This approach is exactly what I do in the SuperDad Project - take busy guys who have prioritised work and family over the last few years and get them back to feeling and looking awesome.

If you’re not making time? Why not?

A genuine question…some people just find they are too busy.

I get it.

I run my own business, up at 5.30 most days to go to work, I need to cook my meals, workout and I’ve got a 2 year old daughter and a wife who I’d also like to see at some point 😂

It’s not easy to balance it all but I’m telling you it’s 100% possible if you’ve got the right tools available.

It’s why all my clients run through my ‘Schedule Optimisation Strategy’ 🆘 when they start.

We quickly identify your non negotiables - work, family time, social events, etc and then plan your training and meal times around that.

EVERY time we never fail to identify pockets of time to get good quality training in (you only need 3 hours a week with the SuperDad training plan).

When Tim started he was constantly tired, stressed out, and junk food had become his go-to for a quick burst of energy.

Sound familiar?

He didn't like the way he looked, the way he felt and he wanted to set a better example for his children.

With 2 young children and a busy job we knew that a super strict diet approach wasn't going to work.

We came up with a plan that allowed him to still eat foods he liked, make better choices on the go and still drop over 45 lbs!

He learnt how to manage social events and not let them affect him, he knows that if he has a bad day food doesn't have to be the instant go-to, and if he does go off track, he has a plan in place to bring it back.

Don't get me wrong, he worked his arse off and was super consistent, but that's what it takes!

He dropped the weight but more importantly for him he feels better, looks better, fits back into his old clothes and feel comfortable that he’s setting a good example.

‘'It’s OK I can do it myself''

I hate to break it to you but…If that's true then why aren't you doing it?

Sometimes it's a case of not knowing where to start.

I get it, there's so much information out there it's almost impossible to find out what's useful and what's rubbish (let alone the stuff that's actually relevant to you).⠀

Then you've got to take all that information and turn it into a plan that makes sense, and THEN you've got to actually follow it through.⠀

Everyone I speak to who has tried to go it alone has struggled with the same thoughts:⠀

- Am I doing the right thing?⠀
- Should I be doing more/less?⠀
- Is exercise 'x' better than 'y'?⠀
- Should I eat this or that?⠀⠀

They're confused, overwhelmed and end up not doing anything.

My job is to help you start dropping body fat quickly and efficiently. I’ll cut out all the bulls**t, give you a plan to follow that saves you time, energy and gets you in great shape.

Why is nobody talking about hard work?

I have conversations daily with guys wanting to know the 'best' exercise to drop body fat or asking if they should cut out sugar/bread/preservatives from their diet.

They want to get in better shape, quicker. So they're looking for the secret ingredient.

The intentions are good but they're looking in the wrong place.

For 90% of these guys, the answer is that they're simply just not pushing themselves hard enough.

Cutting sets short when it gets hard.

Not keeping track of their training sessions or their food because they can't be bothered.

Then they wonder why they're not getting in shape as quickly as they want to.

Hold yourself to a higher standard.

It's not sugar, artificial sweeteners, or the fact you 'don't eat enough to lose weight'.

Getting in shape is hard work - if it wasn't everyone would be walking around with a 6 pack.

Anything that's worth having takes hard work and perseverance.

Be willing to stay the course, learn to enjoy the process and get comfortable doing the hard graft.

How do I know if I’ve done my job?

Because if I’ve done my job right you’ll be able to continue by yourself.

It’s no good following a plan for 12 weeks if you don’t learn how to continue that work off the back of it.

So many people lose weight really quickly then 3 months later all the weight is back on.

My job (other than to help get you in fantastic shape) is to educate you on how to make this a life long change and not just a quick fix.
