First of all just an apology for the lack of updates regarding our football in recent weeks. Very slack I know.
Our last post was to say we was playing Yorkshire grey. We come away from that game winning comfortably 7-1. Controlled the game from start to finish and it was a real strong team performance.
Our next game was against Sportsman and this finished 1-1. A very depleted side and only scraping 11 for that game meant we was down to bare bones but credit to the lads that played that day.
Finally, to last Sundays game against Flying Childers. This was yet again another convincing 4-1. Goals coming from Andrew Knightson, Dylan Humphrey’s and Jake Oliver x2. Another solid performance against Premiership opposition.
In our friendlies so far the lads have shown how much they want to get fit for this upcoming season. We have recruited well and the lads are now starting to gel properly and we look a really dangerous side.
This needs to continue in our remaining 2 friendlies before the league starts in September but overall a really positive showing from the team👍🏻⚽️
