Wow what an amazing day we had yesterday full of sunshine, football, food, fun and a whole heap of community spirit! The day finished off perfectly with a beautiful rainbow in the sky! 🌈

The Kingshotts upheld their title and took home the trophy for their second year! 🏆 A huge congratulations to all the teams that took part, you all did amazing...even if you did lose most of the balls! 😂

Thank you to everyone who came along and joined in the fun and to those who made donations. Your support is so greatly appreciated! 💙

A special thank-you to the trustees and volunteers who put so much love and effort into the day, we appreciate you and couldn't do it without you!! 🙌

The Josh Alexander Cup 2026 raised a grand total of £1,728.31!!!

We are absolutely blown away and over the moon that we hit out target and can donate the final 7 weeks of funding to the Stronger for Life programme to Active Sussex and 20/20 Health Exercise Referral Specialists

All remaing funds will be put towards our next projects including Josh's Christmas Gifts!

Today is the day!! 🙌

The sun is shining and we cannot wait to see you this afternoon for the Josh Alexander Cup! ⚽️🏆

Today's fundraiser is in aid of funding the Stronger for Life stroke rehabilitation programme run by Active Sussex and 20/20 Health Exercise Referral Specialists. This year we pledged to fund 26 weeks of the programne after their funding was unfortunately cut. So far we have funded 19 weeks which has supported 585 patients!! 💪
Our aim is to fund a further 7 weeks and all money raised today will go towards that.

This cause is very close to our hearts as we lost Josh's Dad and charity co founder, Andy, very suddenly last year to a major stroke. This programme is vital in supporting stroke survivors to rebuild their lives both physically and emotionally. 💙

The Josh Alexander Cup is not just about the football! There is so much taking place for all the family and we are so pleased to announce that HKA - Hastings Kombat Academy will also be joining us tomorrow running free one-to-one training and cardio PT sessions throughout the day! 💪

Thanks to the continued support and donations we have received, we have been able to fund 10 family packed lunches to the Grumpy Cook Hastings. Because of your generosity, 10 families will enjoy a picnic together this summer! 🌞

We have now reached 106 Family Pack donations thanks to the incredible generosity of our community.

That means 106 families will be able to enjoy a day at the beach, the park, or simply a day out together with a packed lunch ready to collect from The Grumpy Cook.

Many children in Hastings miss out on days like these because every penny has to go on essentials. A simple picnic can be the difference between a summer memory and another day spent at home.
