After a conversation the other day about 10 year old deciding they want to stop when talking at home, but loving lessons when actually at the pool :-)

Why do kids quit swimming? The number one reason: “It’s no longer fun.” Kids would rather do something else. A former coach told me he lost many high school swimmers once they started dating or got a car.

On behalf of everyone at Mi-Lo Swimming I'd like to wish you all a lovely summer :) Stay safe in the water be it pools or elsewhere! We'll see a few of you on our 6 week Summer Sundays program and everyone else back at lessons that resume 6th September.

Thinking back to Max's swimming but a few weeks ago and he was unable to let go of hands. He is now happy travelling around the pool with his woggle and has earned his Duckling 1 (Preschool) Certificate.

Mi-Lo Swimming does indeed still have some places for September classes in addition to our summer holiday lessons, Sunday evenings at Bexhill Leisure Pool.

Was lovely to get back to baby and preschool swimming today though felt odd missing the bigger ones that have moved up in preparation for September however lots of new smiley faces to get to know over the next few weeks :)

Today was the final preschool session for some of our little ones who are moving over to Sunday swimming and also the first session for a few new preschoolers to try out ready for next term :)

Looking forward to helping teach the Wednesday swimmers again tonight. Has been lovely meeting and getting to know them over the past few weeks and seeing how some familiar faces have progressed 😊
