Dogwood Cottage Campsite, Brede, East Sussex 01424 883570 Small certified site in the heart of the beautiful Sussex countryside Tents, caravans and motorhomes are all welcome, as well as dogs.

We are a small, family-run campsite in the heart of the beautiful Sussex countryside, certified by The Camping and Caravanning Club. The site is enclosed and brilliant for kids to run around. There is a great pub up the road serving locally sourced, fresh food daily and gorgeous walks straight from the site into the rolling Sussex countryside. We are open all year round, have a hot shower, toilet, electric hook ups, drinking water and a chemical disposal point.
£15 per pitch per night. Local attractions:

Camber sands beach
Historic Hastings
Vineyards and Wine Tours

Sarah and Jens from London visited us 14 years ago in their tent on the first camping trip they ever took together.
Now, all these years later, they have come back again in their retro campervan and found the exact same spot they camped in in 2012. Welcome back Sarah and Jens. Don't leave it so long next time!

Yes, we are open. It's beautiful here. The trees are alive with robins, chiffchaffs, blue t**s, starlings, blackbirds, goldfinches and song thrushes all busy nesting and calling out to one another.

Oh wow - we got nominated for an award!
Thank you so much to our wonderful campers for nominating Dogwood Cottage Campsite, Brede, East Sussex 01424 883570 for the Camping and Caravanning Club's category of 'Best Friendly Club Welcome'. It's so nice to feel we are giving our guests a great experience.
It's been a brilliant season.
Thanks to everyone who visited us this year - we hope you enjoyed your stay in this little corner of East Sussex.
We think it's pretty special but then we are probably a bit biased!
Closing up soon for maintenance - last booking on 17 October.
Until then we'll enjoy the last of the sunshine and wish you all a safe, warm and happy winter.

It's time for us to take a well deserved break after the busy Summer.
We will be closed from tomorrow (Thursday 7th) until Friday 15th.
Please note the kitchen closes today after lunch and doesn't reopen until the evening of Friday 15th.
