Hi all, I am looking for four people who would be willing to participate in a group programme that I'm developing, helping people explore their creativity and work through their creative blocks (mainly psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural and potentially practical),and in return for being involved at this early stage, I am keeping the price low.
I'm anticipating that you would need to be able to commit to 2 hours a week, probably on a Monday late pm/early evening for 6 to 8 weeks, starting as soon as I can find the four people. The location will be in central Hastings and there is free parking nearby.
If the day or time doesn't work for you, but you are interested, please still get in touch, as finding some eager participants is the most important thing at this point and I can potentially be flexible with regard to days and times.

It's the day after my trip to the Beyond the Music conference in Manchester and there is so much to take from what I've learnt about the music industry.
I'm encouraged to hear that mental health is being taken seriously in the industry, although there are changes that still need to be made.
What really came shining through for me, certainly from the contributors that I listened to yesterday, is the importance of authenticity and autonomy for artists, as well as building communities, particularly in their fanbase, but also in the network that surrounds them.
Connection. It's all about connection with ourselves and with others.
Boundaries and being empowered to say "no" were also key to maintaining mental health, not just for artists, but for managers, for tour managers, heck, let's be honest. All of us need to be able to say no! And to be ourselves, have agency over our lives and be surrounded with people we trust and respect.
It's not rocket science, but these basics can get lost along the way.
